MDE EXCLUSIVE: PICTURE OF ELLISON DISTRIBUTING NATION OF ISLAM NEWSPAPER IN 1998 #2
By Michael B. Brodkorb | September 29, 2006
I love when liberal bloggers have to admit when I am correct:
"Was Keith carrying Final Call? Yep." Source: MN Publius
If Ellison "was never a member of the Nation of Islam, and has never had anything to do with Louis Farrakhan" why is he walking around with Final Call, the newspaper of the Nation of Islam?

Oh well, in their world unreality, they believe he was just displaying his concern for a young girl murdered. I would say it’s obvious he’s an opportunist crying racism! Perhaps looking for angry black males to join the “I hate America” crowd.
The guy is so obvioiusly a psychopath!

MBPublius are so dim witted, they don’t even comprehend how one sentence contradicts the very next one.
“Keith was never a member of the Nation of Islam, and has never had anything to do with Louis Farrakhan.” and then the very next sentence they write, “He wrote about Farrakhan in law school…”
How can you never have anything to do with someone and then you write about supporting him while you are in law school. They are so dumb.

Why don’t you email him and ask, rather than put it up to the peanut gallery here? Playing detective is fun and all, but what would anyone here know about it? They can’t even spell the name of who they’re voting for.
Plus you quote selectively:
MNP Quote:
Was Keith carrying Final Call? Yep. Was he passing it out? Absolutely not.
Your initiai assertion was that he was passing it out. MDE quote:
MDE EXCLUSIVE: PICTURE OF ELLISON DISTRIBUTING NATION OF ISLAM NEWSPAPER IN 1998
According to the shining examples of humanity here, only DFLers play word games. You show that you like to play the context game with the best of them. Are you turning over a new leaf?

It depends on what the definition of member is
September 29th, 2006 at 9:03 pm
If one looks up the definition of psychopath, one would find a picture of the political party defined as an elephant. Go fiugre.
September 29th, 2006 at 10:32 pm
Doug,
Is that all you can say? I made a typing error when I spelled Kennedy? You’ve got issues boy!
It’s fairly obvious to any thinking person, Ellison was carrying more than one paper and enjoyed highlighting it.
Mark, why don’t you find a real dictionary and try and learn something. Oh, Doug, look!! Your brother spelled figure “fiugre.”

UGH. Your intentional logical fallacy is embarrasing and you should be ashamed of yourself Michael.
What next, busting foreign tourists for carrying a copy of USA Today?
Pathetic.

You know, I’ve read Final Call. I’ve also read The Watchtower, the occasional Jack Chick pamphlet, and that Skeptic column in Scientific American.
I am not a Black Muslim, Jehova’s Witness, Radical Christian, or Atheist.
Crazy, I know. You’d think just by picking up a magazine I’d automatically endorse everything in it, but somehow, I’ve avoided it.
Oh, and when you say a link shows people agreeing with you, it helps if the link doesn’t lead to an article with people saying you’re flat-out lying.

Likewise, if one were to look up the definition of idiot, fellow traveller or apologist, they’ll find MarkL’s picture.

Fekke, do you honestly believe Ellison coincidentally had a copy of that particular paper as though he swung by the news stand on the way to the protest and they happened to be out of Sports Illustrated?
I wish you guys had some integrity. If he were a Republican holding that or some White Supremicist rag the GOP would never stand by him.
I feel sorry for Jewish DFLers having to stand by and watch their party stab them in the back.
September 30th, 2006 at 12:21 am
What are those Final Call papers doing in his hands at this march, a protest march, if not used as a representation of Farrakhan and NOI???
Of course Wllison is promoting the NOI here!
You have to have a common sense screw quite loose if you think otherwise.
So much for Ellison’s tight little statement about a limited involvement and limited knowledge of NOI!
He is in deep with them!

A black kid was shot in the back and Ellison is the attorney representing the family.
Strib wrote about it and quoted him.
PiePress wrote about it and quoted Ellison.
The MN Daily wrote about it and quoted Ellison.
Chicago Sun Times wrote about it and quoted Ellison.
The Final Call (a national publication) wrote about it and probably quoted Ellison word for word.
Like most attorneys, he probably have mulitple copies because of vanity, they took his picture and quoted him at length. Attorneys like to see themselves in the media.
The reason that makes sense because it would be hard to sell copies of a $1 paper AND lead a protest at the same time.
If Mr Brodkorb was interested in the TRUTH moreso than distorting perceptions to fit his mission of destroying people and their families by appealing to the worst in society, he would Nexis-Lexis search that particular issue of the Final Call and get the stories. I guarantee the truth is in what I wrote: That particular edition had extensive quotes from Keith Ellison as the attorney for a kid that was shot in the back by the police.
I’m through trying to contribute to this vile blog. I’ll slowly fade out, so don’t start jerking yourselves happy yet.

Is there a staemtn out yet from the Ellison camp about this photo?
Isn’t the DFL Party having any second thoughts about the integrity level of this man at all yet?
How can other DFL Party members, like Klobuchar and Hatch, reamiain silent about the ongoing uncovering of his lies????
September 30th, 2006 at 9:21 am
DJZ:
You should fade out if you can rationalize this situation at all!
This is in 1998. After his claims of NO INVOLVEMENT and sounding like a hat check girl in no real position of powr with thhe NOI.
The TIMING is the main issue here, not tolerance of the man’s supposed vanity!
Your weak attempt to justify this conduct is obscene. Let it go…let HIM go…he is not the right guy for this job! He has issues!
Point:
Ellison is using an event that is not related to NOI to promote NOI.
In 1998!
Now we question: What did hwe do in 1999, 2000…etc…
He led us to beleive that he had distanced himself after the Million Man March.
This proves that staement to be UNTRUE.
He has got some’splainin’ to do…or perhaps, now knowing his M.O. Some more lying to do!
You have fot a rotten apple there DFL. Don’t embarrass your party any further. Pull Ellison!
Pull him out!!!!
:ppls like he can only get worse……

A couple months ago, Ellison sent out a campaign email criticizing his opponents for accepting campaign donations from sources outside of Minnesota. He never claimed that he didn’t accept such donations, but of course, that IS implied. It took me about three minutes online to confirm that he had indeed received many large donations from sources outside of Minnesota.

If you truly believed your own vile idiocy you wouldn’t “slowly” fade out, you’d leave immediately.
Leave, go, get out, move on. Problem is, you won’t. You’ll just post under another name because you morons have no integrity whatsoever.

two technical items on my MDE wishlist:
1) Making the header clickable
2) Diane filter
oh yeah…
3) credibility (*laughter* *applause*)
remember to tip your waitstaff, etc.
September 30th, 2006 at 12:04 pm
Ellison critized his opponents for accepting campaign donations from sources outside of Minnesota, but didn’t he accept donations from CAIR which gets much of it’s money from Muslims in the Middle East? It doesn’t get more “out of state” than that.
September 30th, 2006 at 2:07 pm
There are lots more pjotos…if I get the one in the Farrakhan bow tiee…I win!!!
Ellison is an anti-senite and a liar!
He is a 43 year old man, not a 23 year old college student. He is not adult enough to hold this job at all!
This photo is so disturbing!!!!
Oh, DJZ…a Diane filter?
That would have to be redefined as a truth filter. I don’t lie like your candidate does.
September 30th, 2006 at 2:42 pm
Diane – “That would have to be redefined as a truth filter.”
Why do you want this entire site to disappear?
September 30th, 2006 at 11:32 pm
Evil: // You’ll just post under another name because you morons have no integrity whatsoever. //
He’ll just… snort, chuckle… post under… huh, hah… a different name?!
So you are saying your parents actually named you “EvilDemocratz”?
Or are you saying you are a moron and have no integrity?
October 1st, 2006 at 10:29 pm
Doug:
A truth filter would then have to penetrate and abolish your entries….hahahahahh

Diane – I’d like to congratulate you on the shortest incorrect post you’ve ever made
