Check out the other supporters (anarchists and communitsts) Ellison will address today at the “Impeach for Peace” crowd today:
“Keith Ellison is scheduled to speak around 3:15-3:30 pm tomorrow in Loring Park, where the event will be ending up. As I understand, Ford Bell will be speaking at some point during the event as well (though it may be earlier at the Fed Bldg).”

Ellison is really speaking at this? He is a nut case.

Following is from the homepage of the organizer web site. The link in #1 didn’t work. Do we know for sure that Krazy Keith is attending? RR, Brain Hanna, Other dems, read the following and tell me if you approve of it.
Impeachment is the wrong approach. Our government is tyrannical, and needs to be overthrown through a popular revolution.
What makes you think that if our government fell today, the American population would replace it with something better? Revolutions are bloody business, and there’s absolutely no guarantee that even with the best of intentions the resulting new government would be an improvement over the current one. Indeed, it could be much worse. For that matter, revolution only makes sense once the people understand the problem. Thanks to a complicit media, most people don’t have the information they need to fully understand what’s currently happening in America, so before we can create positive change, we must help them to understand the situation we’re in. We don’t do that by pushing them away with what appears to be extremism. We must use skillful means to reveal the tyranny of this administration (and government in general). We can do this by making reasonable demands (for instance, that suspicious activities become subject to investigation). Each time we’re denied, more and more people will see the injustice (especially when we take to the streets each time!). Slowly we’ll get enough people on board to create the changes we need, whether our goal is gradual repair of the system or revolution. But either way, the path is the same: First, we try to change the system. When the system shows itself to be tyrannical, the people will move closer to revolution. Of course, if the system changes favorably, then we’ve won a victory — and maybe the theory that the system is hopelessly tyrannical is flawed. The real point is that political change is a process, and we need to have the resolve to see it through. Demanding immediate perfection is unrealistic and counterproductive, and too easily turns into a cop-out for failing to do the hard work of creating meaningful change.

Let me predict what will be said.
“Hey, Keith isn’t a member of CAIR, right? So everything is peachy. Nothing to see here. Move on.”
October 5th, 2006 at 1:23 PM
Nope. I encorage Alan Fine to keep running on this single issue. The longer he does, the more he hurts the legitimate republicans out there who are actually running for office by talking about issues.
October 5th, 2006 at 1:25 PM
Great job! My advice to you is to spend a ton of money in the 5th.

Tammy Lee for Congress.

DO WE AS DISTRICT 5 JEWS SIT BY AS NATION OF ISLAM CANDIDATE KEITH HAKIM
ELLISON RIDES TO POWER?

Dear Friends,
The Jews and Democrats of Martin Sabo’s district have to make a decision:
Will they follow lock and step with a DFL ENDORSED candidate and put Keith
Ellison in office-or will they offer a show of independence, and do what is
right? Ellison is no friend of the Jews or Israel.
I have often told myself that I would not sit still if the ugliness of
Jew/Zionist hatred came to my neighborhood. I initially supported Democrat Ember
Reichgott Junge, http://www.emberforcongress.com/ in hopes that she would defeat Ellison
in the general primary. She lost-and now I am supporting the Republican, and Jewish
candidate Alan Fine in the general election.. Fine will be a positive voice for Minnesota’s 5th district, our state and nation.
Fine enthusiastically supports Israel and her right to self defense..
I am frightened of Ellison, his Nation of Islam ties, and the company he keeps.
My question is this. Do I want to sit still -or do everything in my power to stop this wolf in sheep’s clothing from governing my district and state. Are we Jews in the 5th district doing everything we can do to ensure that this sweet talking-anti Jewish candidate will not take the reigns of power?
If we donothing now, will his voice adversely effect our interests tenfold as he gains power?
If we learn nothing from his past actions and associations with radical hate mongers-are we not to blame?
Ellison is the DFL’s endorsed candidate. Take some time and go to the links I’ve supplied.
Read about his past. The last powerline link is telling.
DON’T LET HIM FOOL YOU!
Would you be equally as trusting of someone who organized for David Duke…
and then denied knowing he was a Nazi?
Mr. Ellison cavorts with Jessie Jackson, Al Sharpton and anti-Zionist hate mongers.
Do not take your vote lightly, because once this man takes office, it will be too late.
Lastly, please don’t tell me that Fine has no shot. At least take a principled stand and
make a statement that you stood-up and refused to vote against your own interests.
PUT UP A SIGN. DISCUSS WITH FRIENDS. WRITE E-MAILS & LETTERS SEND A DONATION.
This election is beyond pure partisanship. Wake Up my fellow Jews!
October 5th, 2006 at 2:07 PM
Good post Rick. And to repeat what I’ve said before, Fine is not a right wing conservative. He’s more of the traditional definition of liberlism. I hope the folks of the 5th CD can look past their prejudices to vote for someone with an “R” by his name.
October 5th, 2006 at 2:24 PM
Dave, Alan Fine has had ample opportunity to make the case for his candidacy. Instead he squandered what could have been a great opening to gain a moderate Republican foothold in a deeply blue district.
He looked like a fool in the week after the primary. Repeatedly.
Tammy Lee for Congress.
October 5th, 2006 at 2:58 PM
This isn’t about the rethugs winning in the 5th. Fine is the sacrificial sheep and going this route the IR’s are trying to get moderate republicans to stick the ticket in the 1st, 6th, and all the other close districts.
October 5th, 2006 at 3:08 PM
FWIW: There were quite a few fed up Democrats calling in to Dan Conry’s show today – looking for leaders and not finding them in their party.
I can’t wait to see photos of the crowd Br. Keith preaches to today. That’s the party base of Ellison, the party that will lose.
October 5th, 2006 at 3:31 PM
Down with the Party of Ellison.
Fine is a smart moderate Republican who is qualified to lead in Congress!
The difference between these two candidates is enormous! Seriously review these men, objuctively. Make a wise choice.
This is a tremendous mailing piece!
GO FINE GO!!!!
October 5th, 2006 at 3:35 PM
Nihad Awad is one of the guys Mr. Fine names.
Nihad Awad is CAIR’s Executive Director.
Here’s a nice photo of Mr. Awad.
Standing next to President Bush in 2001.
In the Islamic Center in DC.
The photo is posted on the White House website.
The headline: “Islam is Peace” Says President
http://www.whitehouse.gov/news/releases/2001/09/20010917-11.html
October 5th, 2006 at 4:04 PM
Nihad Awad also attended college at the U of M.
Perhaps we should outlaw all minorities from attending our colleges, as it simply too risky that someday they may grow up to be the leaders of associations that are embraced by the Bush brothers, but somehow not embraced by the echomen at MDE.
October 5th, 2006 at 5:46 PM
fortunately the voters of the fifth don’t automatically assume that any one connected with islam is a terrorist, nor do they assume that someone who is black is unfit for office.
GO KIETH GO!
p.s. diane, i’ve seen you post on a lot of blogs and you say alot of crazy, bizarre things.
October 5th, 2006 at 6:04 PM
Rover,
I think Fine is running on the Dim. motto: We
can do better!
October 5th, 2006 at 6:09 PM
Roving, a couple weeks ago you and I had a semi-rational back-and-forth on why concern about CAIR is legitimate and the topic important, and how none of that is in the slightest extinguished by the fact that CAIR has appeared with the president or has been accepted as a moderate Muslim group by people not paying very close attention.
I’m not saying you agreed with it exactly; but it seemed like you moved a foot or two toward understanding how some people might think that way and not be racists.
So then I come in and read these comments and there ya are, pitching right in, ridiculing the issue.
Remember the comic strip Pogo? This is from Pogo. I think it was either Howlan Owl talking to Churchy the Turtle or vice-versa: “When you goes to sleep at night and wakes up agin in the mornin’, does you fergit everythin’ you know?”
October 5th, 2006 at 6:12 PM
Paulp, here is what your post sounds like:
“Unfortunately the people of the 5th CD would never vote for a Jew. They assume all Jews are unfit for office.”
Wow, that was easy. I can debate like a Democrat.
October 5th, 2006 at 6:58 PM
Rs, have you ever heard of the First Amendment and free speech. Wait Mr. Bush is re-writing OUR US Constitution so it is just a piece of paper. Go figure.
October 5th, 2006 at 7:19 PM
The Party of the Pedophile Protectorate is rehashing old, meaningless news. All this has been seen and refuted long months ago.
Every parent in America is looking to the Bush Republicans right now… and they are failing the test.
They protected the congressional pedophile.
They covered up the children’s complaints.
They went with the money, and said to hell with the kids.

When 3900 newspapers are writing about a story, and it is the largest story for days, and it is gaining ground (3600 yesterday), you’ve got a biiiiiiiig problem.
October 5th, 2006 at 8:59 PM
Brian you tolerant, understanding and caring individual. Because it shows how biased our media is. You know that if this were a Democrat you would say look at all the gay bashing, how hateful and homophobic. It would be vitually a non-story. The main reason this story has traction is because Foley is a Republican. your advice would be move along nothing to see here…….
PS Yes Foley is digusting and pathetic. I am glad he resigned quickly which is far more than any Democrat in a similar situation would do.
October 5th, 2006 at 9:01 PM
Brian, go tell this to the 8 yr olds that have no clue about what’s really happening in politics.
But, hey, if you want to waste your time and energy, your the fool!
October 5th, 2006 at 10:46 PM
Be careful what you wish for annie rice!! My 9 year old Grabddaughter is very versed in politics. She knows that her other Grandfather, who lives in Texas, is a member of the political wrong party.
October 5th, 2006 at 10:47 PM
Roving:
Yes. Nihad Awad did attend the U of M. As did Ellison. Both Muslims and both transplants. There are many more here. Minnesota is the golden land of denial and that translates into opportunity for radical Muslims. They are almost guaranteed that the residents will take forever to catch on, and, when they do, to take forever to leap from the jaws of denial about them and their activities.
Call it coincidence, call it destiny. But then step back and call it what it truly is…conspiracy to overthrow the YS government.
I think there is more proof in the fact of the flight training in Minnesota for the hijackers….
Since Rowley, who is FBI trained, and cannot even run a campaign computer system, is deemed the vright little whistle blower of our time…I would have to venture here that the ONLY reason she caught on is the fact that there are SO many Muslims in action in our midst.
They take total advantage of the fact here that blacks see white, and liberals don’t dare to see black.
How do you explain that we have one of the largest Somali populations in the country, right here in Minnesota?
All students?
Let’s check those Visa’s now shall we?!!
Our local Law Enforcement cannot even inquire about illefal status if there is no crime in the moment or reason to ask. YOU cannot report illegals in your neighborhood to the Police and expect ANY response. They vannot ask.
Policies like that make it a heavenly ground for Muslims who have hurtin’ on their minds!
Nihad headrd out of Jordan 20 years ago and came to Norwegian Minnesota…don’t you have to wonder what the true draw to our U and our state was?
I do. I wonder. And I wonder, why, after Keith Ellison denounced his catholic faith and left his family in Detroit, he headed right to Minnesota. With a serious chip on his shoulder I may add. A chip that would be his guide through Marches and protests against the police. Then he reached out in Minnesota and DEFENDED cop killers for a living. And gang members!
Can this man not find honest work?
He has an agenda and the friends to make it happen for him.
He has a ‘lay in the weeds’ strategy and the Quran to bolster it as his guide.
Keith X Hakim Muhammad (that name alone displays his ties to the NOI) Ellison.
Now shouldn’t his indecision with his own name be a heads up to you???
Trouble ahead with this guy for sure.
October 5th, 2006 at 10:48 PM
Typo!! Wrong Political Party.
October 6th, 2006 at 11:27 AM
What’s really risky is taking money from jews who conned America into attacking Iraq at the cost of 2 trillion dollars and 3000 American lives plus another 15000 maimed.
October 7th, 2006 at 12:10 AM
I got this mailing Friday. I noticed that it didn’t include an address for Alan Fines website
http://fineforcongress.org
It’s amazing how often politiicans send literature wouth the website address.
