By Michael B. Brodkorb | October 7, 2006

I'll be on the radio for a two-hour radio program from 3-5 p.m. with King Banaian of SCSU Scholars on AM 1280 The Patriot.

Today we'll be focusing on the 6th CD race between Michele Bachmann, John Binkowski, and Patty Wetterling. Eva Young from Dump Bachmann and Jeff Kouba from Bachmann vs. Wetterling will both be guests from 3-4 p.m..

Michele Bachmann and John Binkowski will be on from 4-5 p.m..  Patty Wetterling was invited, but a representative from her campaign said Wetterling couldn't be on today

I encourage you to all to listen.  Broadcasts can be heard on AM 1280 The Patriot, which has an Internet stream for those outside the Twin Cities. Brave Democrats can join the conversation at 651-289-4488.

Gee Drama Queen – why not mention the guests. I will be on, as will Jeff Kouba and Mike Grimes.

When are you going to discuss your candidate, Alan Fine and his recently revealed character issues: http://www.startribune.com/587/story/727029.html

After your obsession with Keith Ellison, I must admit curiosity about how you might try to spin this one.

  4. Brian Hanna Says:
    October 7th, 2006 at 2:11 PM

Yes, since character is so central to his candidacy, I would think a question or two about slapping around a pregnant wife and new mother might be a worthy use of airtime.

Eva Young, your just another bigot who hates christians – nothing new about you or your campaign blog!

Jordon, his “then” wife said he hit her across the face and the Police Report states Fine is the only one who had scratches on his face and chest. He was released from jail after several hours.

Also, it’s interested that the x-wife’s dad is a judge. From what I read, I believe the woman was lying. Or do you guys find that impossible?

I’m surprised Minnesota Democrats Exposed did’nt expose the truth of the dumbachman blog and that horrid woman who pretended to be so “above politics”

  8. Mark Says:
    October 7th, 2006 at 4:47 PM

Annie, were you home-schooled? You’re a terrible speller.

  9. Mark Says:
    October 7th, 2006 at 4:52 PM

Annie, I know that evangelicals are regularly told that their interpretation of the Bible and view of Christianity is the One True Way.

Trust me – there are a wide variety of political views that Christians take, all of which can be backed up by a belief in the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

For you to think otherwise is naive and bigoted.

How about starting with ‘Blessed are the peacemakers.’

  10. annie rice Says:

    Mark,

Sorry, I did’nt edit before I posted. I should have spelled dumpbachman and instead I spelled dumbachman. I believe I was thinking about how dumb that woman is who runs that site. Interesting, you ask if I was home-schooled because they’re the students who usually win the National Spelling Bee!

    Mark,

Since your such a theological scholar, what interpretation of the Bible are you discussing. If it is “Blessed are the peacemakers”. Could you please , theologically speaking, explain the wide varieties of intrepretation? I believe it is bigoted and naive of you to call me mean and bigoted when you have no concept of my theological views.
So why don’t you start with “Blessed are the peacemakers.”

Since i’m fairly sure the site owner does not want to see theological debates here, i’d love it if you could find some neutral blog to actually go into some depth regarding your assumptions.

  11. Eva Young Says:
    October 7th, 2006 at 8:20 PM

Annie, I don’t think I said I was above politics. Clearly Dump Bachmann is a political blog. The blog attacks Michele Bachmann – but isn’t a pro-Wetterling blog.

It should be obvious to anyone who follows the 6th district that I criticize Wetterling’s campaign (I write as Lloydletta over there). Other posters on that blog tend to do less of that.

I said on the air, I didn’t think much of the campaign managers for either campaign.

  12. Eva Young Says:
    October 7th, 2006 at 8:24 PM

Annie, are you talking about christians – or pharisees? I’ve always thought Dobson, Bauer et al seemed rather pharisee like to me. They don’t seem to talk much about the message from the gospel.

  13. Brian Hanna Says:
    October 7th, 2006 at 10:57 PM

Fine slapped her on repeated occassions, according to her. He also admitted he had hit his wife to her father, the judge, who swore out an affidavit to that effect.

She dropped the charges after he pressured her, promising to work things out in counselling, then days later he files for divorce.

Call me credulous, but when a judge swears out an affidavit, I tend to give that some weight.

I believe I’ll have to downgrade Fine’s standing in the race from “dead meat” to “roadkill”. Sorry, dude, but if you are going to run for office, don’t beat your wife.

My home schooled kids can run circles around any government schooled kid… Eva…baby.. I believe Mike did mention your name…. Wetterling is a chicken shit…she is very dumb and does not want to prove it

  15. doug Says:
    October 7th, 2006 at 11:31 PM

annie rice – if your theological debates are anything like your political ones, you’ll cherry pick what you believe, and call anyone who disagrees with your flawed and unsophisticated interpretation a ‘demoncrat’.

But hey, whatever gets you through your day.

  16. annie rice Says:
    October 8th, 2006 at 1:33 AM

    Eva,

I checked out your blog so just stop with the pretense. Would you care to define pharisee
and perhaps give me examples as to what evidence supports your assertions about Dobson or anyone else you don’t like? Also, what is the message
of the gospel? Could you also address the relevancy of this gospel to the various dispensations in the O.T.?

Doug, I believe you are the one who enjoys proof-reading my posts and deducting points for spelling and grammar.
How could I ever accuse you of being unsophisticated when i’ve failed so miserably in “blog composition”
Scripture cherry picking is a tactic generally reserved for the left.

(I believe I mentioned my christian faith once and since that statement of faith, it seems i’m to be drilled until I convert to secular humanism or goddess worship.

Again, if your truly interested , provide me with a link to some relevant blog. I don’t care if it’s atheistic , pagan…whatever! But I don’t believe a huge discussion about various theological views is real relevant to this blog. Saying that, I reserve my constitutional right to proclaiming my faith and voting for a candidate or a political party that best, though never perfectly, reflects my christian worldview.

Sponsored by the United States Constitution

Hi, i’m annie rice and I approve of this message.

  18. swiftee Says:

I got a question for all of you lefty morons.

IF any of the propaganda that the Strickle published was true..and none of it has been proven to be anything more than the type of posturing that accompanies every contentious divorce…would that be a reason to vote for a well documented anti-Semite, racist, adulterer and tax cheat like Keith X Hakim-Ellison Mohammad?

If there were a shred of proof to any of the allegations that the Srtickle has so dilligently exhumed I’d be supporting Tammy Lee or calling for a none of the above vote.

If Alan Fine were the proven piece of shit that Ellison is, voting for him wouldn’t be a possibility for me.

When I read his smarmy remarks, I have a picture in my head of Brian Hannah as Jabba-the-Hut smirking from underneath a steaming pile of turds. “You’re my kind of scum!”

    So what’s your take?

  19. fred Says:

Sponsered by the Constitution unless, of course, the administration deems you a threat and then, you’ll be held without counsel in a secret prison. Your legs will be beaten with rubber hoses and you’ll be anally raped with broomsticks. Your questioners will waterboard you until you answer questions you have no answers for. Thank Herr Kline for all this.

  20. Eva Young Says:
    October 8th, 2006 at 6:21 PM

Swiftee, I didn’t think you lived in the 5th District – so your opinion – as far as voting goes, is pretty much irrelevant.

You are much better off being the face and voice for the Michele Bachmann campaign.

    Fred,

    Let me guess. Michael Moore?

I think we should all ask why the Strib even ran that story on Fine?????

Could it be that they were pissed that he spoke up about the fact that as a candidate in the fifth he had submitted an Op-Ed peice and the Strib refused to run it?
Could it be that the Strib is supporting Ellison and the DFL and they have some numbers that show Fine gaining and they decided to take him down a nothsh with HIS OWN INFO that he VOLUNTARILY supplied them with???
Remember, it was expunged info. Fine already pleaded his truths to a Judge to get it removed from his record. And being expunged, the Strib could not have gotten it if Fine had not given it to them.

I think that when the writers state that they had the infor for two weeks and they were lying because Alan Fine stated in his press release that he had given them the papers FOUR MONTHS ago…it shows that they wrote this and publiched this with the intent to do harm to Mr. Fine directly and in a politically motivated manner.
Since they had the actual docs from Fine four months afo, that would mean that they needed no verification time as they had the verifying docs in hand four months ago…not two weeks ago as they wrote in the article.

I shall remind here that expunged record means it was faulty info or completly false in nature and could be removed as it is not pertintent to the character of the individual.

Fine also noted that he has sole and constant coustody of his 12 year old son.

    You do the math.

The Strib is so out of line here and Rochelle Olsen is a gutter writer!
Why doesn’t she write about the actual OPEN AND CURRENT lawsuit that Ellison is facing with his former girldriend that HE beat up and used???

Bad slant to that paper…you notice it now after te Fine article when you drive by the newstands as they ’tilt to the left’ now when you look at them!
