New SurveyUSA poll shows Bachmann up

Crazy! This race is topsy-turvy. It’s going down to the wire. SurveyUSA 10/22/06 – 10/24/06 MOE 3.7% Bachmann 49 Wetterling 43 Binkowski 5 Undecided 3 Still within the margin of error. The recent trend for Wetterling had been encouraging; I’ll…

even with the anti Christian bigotry spewed forth by the Strib..and other Wetterliar backers ..this is great news……Polling was even done on Sunday when many Republicans are in church…have to think the margin is even bigger than 6..but, we only need 1 point….what trend pm?..did you actually believe the Srtib poll?

The result is pretty consistent with SurveyUSA findings throughout the election season. Does anyone know how credible SurveyUSA is? It was comparable to Zogby a few weeks back…

This is an 8-point shift from the biased Strib survey, but it still seems quite a turnaround.

    Heh…THANKS NEW JERSEY SUPREME COURT!!!!

13 days to convince voters what a crazed homophobic nutcase Michele Bachmann is. Shouldn’t be too tough. Her extreme bigotry has no place in this state and she needs to go home and darn her husbands socks. As God intended it. The NRSC has pulled funding from Kennedy because he’s so obviously going to be humilated and as the NRCC funds the ridiculous Bachmann it will only become more and more apparent to the voters that Bachmann is only another rubber stamp legislator. I think we’ve had enough of that. It might be close but Patty will prevail and do a magnificent job as a Congresswomen.

    John,

It is interesting to see Minnesota Democrats attack the Lutheran Church – Wisconsin Synod. Yeah, that’s a winning issue for you lefties. It’s right up there with banning stuff bunnies from St Paul city hall because of some vague connection to Christianity.

    Michele for President!

  9. john Says:

Richard…what is a homophob?..what makes Michele one?..not allowing homosexuals to mrry is NOT discrimination…..the only bigotry i have seen is the anti Christian bigots on Mnpubliar, the Star Trib..and some of the commenters on these pages…if by some fluke Wetterliar wins she will be one term and out…she will have a dismal record to run on in 08…but, the point is , as they say, moot.

Patty Wetterling is a good, solid candidate, and would stand up for the district well.

We know exactly what we’d get out of Bachmann – talk of using nukes to fight terrorists, legislating who can marry who based on her own religion, etc.

Long past time for a change in Washington.

“Her extreme bigotry has no place in this state and she needs to go home and darn her husbands socks. As God intended it.”

You claim bigotry on Bachmann’s part and show your own, all in the same sentence.

Thaty’s just beautiful Man. Please keep posting here. You’re a great illustration of why all the Dems will be so unhappy after Election Day.

  12. Kyle Says:
    October 26th, 2006 at 8:11 AM

BH — Marriage is, and only is, ia religious rite… not a civil right. So, marriage devined by religious convictions is only natural.

  13. JonM in MN Says:
    October 26th, 2006 at 8:14 AM

“Long past time for a change in Washington.”

I agree. Vote Grams in 06.

But that’s not what BH means. He means vote for ANY Dem over ANY Rep. Because neoconvicts are evil, and the only thing keeping us from the abyss are good hearted folks like ol’ Patty.

Fortunately for all of us, the average MN voter is much wiser than BH.

  14. Mark Says:
    October 26th, 2006 at 11:32 AM

When Bachmann attributes homosexuality to some traumatic event in a person’s life, and repeatedly says that gay=pedophile, I’d call that homophobia.

  15. Keep it Simple Says:
    October 26th, 2006 at 12:20 PM

Bachman never said that gay=pedophile. That’s silly.

Actually, Wetterling has been closer to making that connection and playing off that fear.

  16. john Says:
    October 26th, 2006 at 7:33 PM

Phobia means the fear of..not hatred of…. how can pedophilia of same sex victims NOT be homosexuality?…thanks to courts like the NJ supreme court man/woman marriage needs to be legislated..unfortunately that is where we are at today…..nothing wrong with using nukes in the right place…ask any Jap….
