RITCHIE CONNECTION TO COMMUNIST PARTY USA MENTIONED IN STAR TRIBUNE
By Michael B. Brodkorb | October 26, 2006
This is from a profile article in the Star Tribune:
“One leading candidate has raised red flags over the years about the safety of modern milk and received a favorable mention recently from the Communist Party USA.” Source: Star Tribune, October 26, 2006
###
“His website lists endorsements from organized labor, gay groups and the Star Tribune. Not mentioned is a favorable review by the Communist Party USA in a June 24 article, This Battle Can Be Won!
‘In Minnesota the DFL candidate for Secretary of State Mark Ritchie, of the League of Rural Voters, could play a valuable national role,’ the article said.” Source: Star Tribune, October 26, 2006
I first wrote about Ritchie’s connection to the Communist Party USA back in July.

I doubt they meant “raised red flags” as such a pun… but it is… precious.

Oh my God! The COMMUNIST party? OH dear Lord, the world is coming to an end.
I guess Republican senators from certain states being endorsed by known racist groups doesn’t pale in comparison to a “favorable mention” from the Communist Party USA.
That’s right.. keep your base in fear. We’ll all be enjoying the view while you guys all run for cover from the “bogeyman” also known as the GOP.

I wonder if Teddy Kennedy had anything to do with the endorsement?
Oh wait — he wasn’t a part of the CPUSA. He dealt with the big guys in Moscow. Alledgedly.
Did that memo ever get verified?

Bryan, name one.

The problem…is putting a rabid leftwing activist, like Ritchie, in a job that should be the last bastion of political neutrality. He can’t do it. It’s not in his nature. We have a great SoS now, who bends over backwards to be fair, and that’s exactly as it should be. Don’t fix what isn’t broken…with inferior parts at that.

Actually Bryan, your side has partnered with racist hate groups. As an example, when Cindy Sheehan and the various liberals (including Rawley) were protesting against the President in Crawford Texas, David Duke went there to show his solidarity with her and her people. And the pro-Nazi group Stormfront came down also.
I wish I still had links to the David Duke quotes. He said word-for-word what the Dems say.

Good point Dave. But I suppose the Left’s record of hating jews is consistent with their war on religion, generally.

Here you go Dave:
“From the beginning, this war was orchestrated… by Jewish neocons that saw the war as one for Israel’s strategic objectives. Cindy Sheehan has a lot to be angry about. Her son was betrayed and his life lost by government officials who treasonably created and continue a war for Israel and the Jewish supremacist agenda rather than that of the United States.”

The reference to red flags and the CPUSA in the lead was rich. Truly rich! Why couldn’t Pat Doyle have been the one writing stories about Hakim? Then maybe voters would know the truth.

One reason much of the local left has little inherent problem with a group like CAIR is because at some level, they share CAIR’s clear loathing of Israel.

Don’t forget Green Party Candidate Dave Berger. I took a social inequalities class that he taught at Inver Hills community college in 1998. He had a poster in his class room advocating marajuana use and promoting the cause of getting it legalized! He is the green party candidate for AG in MN.
