FINAL SENATE DEBATE WATCH 2006

By Michael B. Brodkorb | November 5, 2006

"Mark Dayton Democrat Amy Klobuchar's poll-tested sound bites and attempts to remake herself as a moderate are not credible. The fact is Klobuchar and Dayton are far-left liberal Democrats out of step with Minnesotans. It's once again clear Klobuchar will say anything if she thinks it will help her politically." – Mark Drake, Republican Party of Minnesota

Michael, what’s your new career plan for November 8th?

I was at the Fitz last night – Kennedy was pretty sad.

I wonder how much money the Dems will have spent to hold onto a Senate seat in Minnesota.

Even if Amy wins this one, it is nice to see the effort needed to keep one seat in the DFL hands. Once there was a time it would a given that the DFL would win all, now more and more people are waking up to the fact the DFL is no longer the DFL of old. I like to think it was Wellstone who put such a bad taste in people’s mouths that the DFL now has to spend record amounts of money to try and hold some seat of power in this state.

Can you imagine the lefty’s on Wednesday if Amy loses? Now that would be a great sight to see. :) I always like to think back at how many points ahead other democRats have been in polls but lost election day. Amy has not yet… oh wait I mean the fat lady has not yet sung. :)
