ELLISON TO GIVE KEYNOTE ADDRESS AT CAIR CONVENTION

Congressman-elect Keith Ellison is scheduled to give the keynote address at the annual banquet held by the Council on American-Islamic Relations. The event will be held on November 18 in Arlington, Virginia.
What is CAIR?
"But there is another side to CAIR that has alarmed many people in positions to know. The Department of Homeland Security refuses to deal with it. Senator Charles Schumer (Democrat, New York) describes it as an organization 'which we know has ties to terrorism.' Senator Dick Durbin (Democrat, Illinois) observes that CAIR is 'unusual in its extreme rhetoric and its associations with groups that are suspect.' Steven Pomerantz, the FBI's former chief of counterterrorism, notes that 'CAIR, its leaders, and its activities effectively give aid to international terrorist groups.' The family of John P. O'Neill, Sr., the former FBI counterterrorism chief who perished at the World Trade Center, named CAIR in a lawsuit as having 'been part of the criminal conspiracy of radical Islamic terrorism' responsible for the September 11 atrocities. We can only hope that there are enough adults left in Washington to keep Keith X from receiving any sensitive military intelligence.
Our guys have enough to deal with without having to worry that their gear is arriving pre-booby trapped.

That this man is sitting in the U.S. congress is a crime. Every Veteran that ever died fighting for our freedom must be rolling in their graves. We must continue to fight to expose this man through every means possible. It is now a FACT that a sitting U.S. Congressman has taken campaign money from the same people who send money to known terrorist organizations that have and continue to strap bombs to people and send them to kill innocent civilians inside Isreal. Congratulations, Keith. Facts are not the politics of fear and smear. Why don’t you stand on a podium in your own city with your friends from CAIR?

Ellison said he was “really honored” to be in Washington. He said he would return to Minnesota this weekend and would not be the keynote speaker at the annual banquet for the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR), a group that was a flashpoint in the fall campaign. His appearance had already been announced by CAIR, but Ellison said it was the result of a “natural, normal miscommunication.”
