    By Michael B. Brodkorb | December 26, 2006

      I’ll just say two things:

“6 — Michele Bachmann: Where do we begin? I know it is hard to believe that someone who has God’s stamp of approval can be on this list, but I’m doing it anyway. Don’t pity this “fool” for Christ. She is an armed and dangerous Christian soldier.”

So basically they hate her traditiona Christian views. Hmmm, wonder if they hate orthodox Jews also.

“The guy who claimed he was a 99% improvement on Paul Wellstone should change that to being a “180 degree turnabout from Paul Wellstone”.”

That’s a lie. Normie never said that. Micheal, your the most hated person by liars who hate Christians. I’d be proud to be on top of that list.

Hah, I am by far worse and have a blog, but no one reads my blog so oh well. So many nut jobs in this state, and they have the nerve to call the normal ones bad. Jeesh.

I was just watching Team USA beating the DFL (oh I mean the Soviets) in “Miracle” when I saw this post.

What an amazing movie about an amazing team in an amazing story.

Anyway, MDE, you (and the rest of the list) should wear your place on this list as a badge of honor.

You, in particular should be proud of being named number 1. Just more proof that you are an effective reporter of truth. And a pain in the ass to the Left in this state.

Keep up the great work MDE. I hope to see you at number 1 on this list again next year.

    4. Devon Holstad Says:

Actually, Dave, ‘Normie’ did say that. The exact quote was:
“To be very blunt and God watch over Paul’s soul, I am a 99 percent improvement over Paul Wellstone…Just about on every issue.”

Here are just a few news stories that should refresh your memory:

You need to come up with some sort of graphic for the front page that celebrates this honor.

    7. Jamie Says:

Would you settle for being called the WORST POLITICAL PERSON in the greater Metro area? Out may come pictures from your days as a chicken heckler as proof!

    8. Jeff Says:

So basically they hate her traditiona Christian views. Hmmm, wonder if they hate orthodox Jews also.

uh, her Christian values aren’t even remotely “Traditional”, sorry. she’s a born again fundy

99% better in working with the Bush Administration. Now, depending on one’s perspective, that can be good or bad. But it is certainly true.

HA-HA-heh-heh!. These goofs couldn’t embrace an idea, defend their point-of-view with anything that resembles a rational mind. These are moon-bats, they have no ability to enjoy…anything!! Whenever I debate one of the “reality based” commrades I go for the throat. Within 5 seconds they become wild-eyed, foul-mouthed. hate- filled , name -calling buffoons! While in this state I calmly ask them, “does your mother know you’re outside?” Incredibly ignorant people. With this for your base, dems have to know how s.o.l. they truly are

    11. BigJC Says:
      December 27th, 2006 at 6:33 am

      What an amazing honor! Congratulations!

To be named the “worst” means you’ve been under their skin more than any other Republican. It means you’ve nailed them to the wall on their liberals lies more than anyone else out there and they don’t like it.

This is a red letter day for you, Michael!

    12. Dave of the VRWC Says:
      December 27th, 2006 at 7:26 am

Devon, he was talking about relations with the President. By selectively only giving part of the qoute, you change the entire meaning of what he said, making it a false statement.

    13. Bob Says:
      December 27th, 2006 at 7:30 am

Worst “Political” person? How about just the worst person. Hollow and evil to the core. There is a reason “Thou shall not bear false witness against thy neighbor” makes the top 10 list for sins. What you do is not only shameful but well beyond the pale. The people you support are from a cesspool that only want power for power’s sake, who actively work to crush the already downtrodden, and who love money about all else.

    14. Kyle Says:
      December 27th, 2006 at 8:02 am

Devon, Norm was right. He is a 99 percent improvement over Paul Wellstone, who I remember not only as a generally nice guy, but also as a hyperventilating idiot.

Honestly, everyone on that list should be proud to be mentioned. It’s quite an honor to be vilified by the most detestable haters in the DFL.

    15. Master of None Says:
      December 27th, 2006 at 9:31 am

Why isn’t Hatch on the list?

    16. Kyle Says:
      December 27th, 2006 at 9:59 am

      Jeff,
I get the sense that you know nothing about Christianity. As such, please refrain from commenting.

    17. Bruce Says:
      December 27th, 2006 at 10:22 am

      Wow Bob,

You are true to form for the left. Personal attacks in defense of an indefensible position. I love money because money is what keeps this country moving. You and the others on the left want to redistribute wealth. Take from the rich and give to the poor. What happens when the rich decide to quit producing?, quit providing jobs, quit risking their capital on new ventures, or on new equipment to increase the size of their businesses, and yes, personal wealth. Then where would the poor be. Try reading “Atlas Shrugged” by Ayn Rand, and you might learn about how wealth and opportunity develop, and conversely how they can be destroyed.

    18. The Lady Logician Says:
      December 27th, 2006 at 10:46 am

Jeff - do you even have a clue what “fundy” is short for and what the full word means?

Bob - false witness? Got proof?

    19. DJZ Says:
      December 27th, 2006 at 10:59 am

      Kyle,
With some of the lies, advocation for death, and judgemental posts you’ve proudly posted, I’d say being Christ-like is not your area of expertise. It certainly isn’t your area of practice.

    20. J. Ewing Says:
      December 27th, 2006 at 11:09 am

I don’t understand this. Does this mean you are the “worst” threat to the radical liberal agenda, or the worst political hack in the state, or the worst at doing what you do? That’s the trouble with these liberals, you can never know what they’re talking about.

    21. Dave of the VRWC Says:
      December 27th, 2006 at 11:55 am

“That’s the trouble with these liberals, you can never know what they’re talking about.”

Usually it’s something about big oil, Haliburton, Wal-Mart and tax-cuts-for-the-rich.

    22. Chris Says:
      December 27th, 2006 at 11:58 am

I would have thought that Mark Olson would have topped it….who knew

    23. Kyle Says:
      December 27th, 2006 at 12:00 pm

DJZ — I have told no lies. I have advocated for nobody’s death. And I’ve been no more judgmental than the turkeys on your side of the court. In fact, I’ve judged their, and your idiotic ideas more than anything else. (Well, except Brian Hanna, who is a fat ass ignoramus!)

You’ve got no base for making statements about my understanding or practice of anything.

    24. Kyle Says:
      December 27th, 2006 at 12:48 pm

I would add that “being Christ-like” is nobody’s expertise, but Christ’s.

    25. RamseyRep Says:
      December 27th, 2006 at 4:20 pm

The real reason that Democrats hate money is due to the fact they appeal to the poor and uneducated and thus want to keep people poor and stupid in order to have a base. That’s one of the reasons that welfare is designed the way it is. It still punishes those who want to work.

Poor people don’t know anything about paying taxes. When people graduate from poverty through hard work, achievement and education, they start rejecting the liberal way and see that they were nothing but tools of the left-wing propaganda machine.

    26. john Says:
      December 27th, 2006 at 4:21 pm

Eva Young should top the list for her anti fundamental-Christian rants. What could be worse than that?

    27. Bryan S. Says:
      December 27th, 2006 at 5:26 pm

Michelle Bachmann is a fundamentalist Christian that believes the Bible word for word as the infallible word of God in it’s many-time translated, modern english form.

They like to accept the science of rooms lighting up when you flip the switch, but can’t fathom the earth being more than 6000 years old.

These people are simply authoritarians that are just looking for someone to lead them around…. a crutch to lean on, if you will.

It’s unfortunate, because so many of them are wonderful people with a lot of good in their hearts that get misled by the greedy SOBs in the Republican party.

      And Bruce:

Expenditures on venture capital have crashed since Bush came into office with his Republican majorities. People are willing to invest in the future when they can be sure they’ll have a future to profit from. Massive national debts and constant threats of terrorism (mostly fabricated by Republicans) don’t give people much reason to start up a business. It’s pretty simple economics: Bush+Economics= Don’t mix

      Bryan S.,
Keep posting. Continue to display your ignorance. It is amazing. And entertaining.

    29. Bruce Says:
      December 28th, 2006 at 10:14 am

Bryan, Can you read a news paper. Even the Red Star reported that Ajmadinajad of Iran has threatened us, as well as the Baath Party in Iraq. Or has the Red Star suddenly gotten in bed with the administration? By what measure are you guaging the economy. By the measures I read, the economy is doing well. kyle is right. Keep posting, it helps us prove our point/s.

“constant threats of terrorism (mostly fabricated by Republicans)”

Are you for real? Wow, just wow.

    31. Master of None Says:
      December 28th, 2006 at 12:21 pm

This kind of “high quality” post is what happens when Michael links to anything in DU. Filthy hippie half-brained leftist trash.

    32. Chestnut Says:
      December 28th, 2006 at 1:21 pm

Sure Shozzy, didn’t you know… all those Al Queda videos are from GOP productions. And all the suicide bombers, those are members of the College Republicans.

      LOL!

    33. Richard Says:
      December 28th, 2006 at 4:45 pm

Kyle,, Point by point, with specifics, rebut Bryan.

And as far as the constant threat of terrorism. I can’t decide which Republican line to buy. Are we safer because we’re fighting them over there instead of over here. Or, are we constantly assailed with threats of terrorism. Please fill me in and tell me if I’m suppose to be afraid.

    34. kyle Says:
      December 28th, 2006 at 5:22 pm

Richard, it ain’t worth my time. Point by point, you defend Bryan. It ain’t worth your time either.

    35. Chestnut Says:
      December 28th, 2006 at 5:38 pm

      I’ll take a crack Richard:

//Michelle Bachmann is a fundamentalist Christian that believes the Bible word for word as the infallible word of God in it’s many-time translated, modern english form.//

Yeah, so what? That’s why they call it “faith” you idiot. Moreover, anyone who knows anything about the bible also knows that it’s not been translated many times and then in to English. The current form is translated directly from ancient Greek and Hebrew texts.

//They like to accept the science of rooms lighting up when you flip the switch//

That’s not science, it’s innovation based on science. Thank you Edison and Tesla.

//but can’t fathom the earth being more than 6000 years old//

Most Christians accept that the earth is older than 6,000 years old. Yes there are those who do not, but your blanket assumptions betray your ignorance Bryan.

//These people are simply authoritarians that are just looking for someone to lead them around…. a crutch to lean on, if you will.//

Are you kidding? Authoritarians looking to be led around… A crutch? … sorry Bryan, I won’t… you’re too incoherent and ridiculous to be taken seriously. But since Richard asked for a point by point… well, hey, I’ll humor your stupidity… please tell me more about authoritarians looking to be led… it’s a mystery.

//It’s unfortunate, because so many of them are wonderful people with a lot of good in their hearts//

After Bryan tells that Christians are too naive and illogical to be trusted, he then tells us that they are good people? I’m starting to think Bryan can’t keep on solid train of thought long enough to change the bong water.

//that get misled by the greedy SOBs in the Republican party.//

Huh? Truth is, much of the GOP platform speaks directly to Christian values, and more specifically it is not hostile to religious beliefs and practices the way the DFL platform is.

//Expenditures on venture capital have crashed since Bush came into office with his Republican majorities.//

Got some authority for that to cite? Because fluctuations in the V.C. market are tied to the tech bubble crashing and investors seeking better, more sound investments.

//People are willing to invest in the future when they can be sure they’ll have a future to profit from.//

I beg your pardon? What? Please clarify. This has what point, exactly? That people invest when they believe they’ll profit — well DUHHHHHH!…

In fact, Bush’s tax cuts, specifically the drastic cuts to capital gains stimulated massive investments because investors knew that the government would steal less of their earnings…. this created jobs, and led the economic recovery. Visit the last 24 months of economic news for more…

//Massive national debts and constant threats of terrorism (mostly fabricated by Republicans) don’t give people much reason to start up a business.//

Huh? The last 6 years have been very favorable to small businesses, and thousands have gone in to business for themselves.

Are you seriously saying the threats of terrorism are fabricated by Republicans? Are you completly brain dead and stupid? Richard? Stop, selling this guy the second hand crack. This is mad talk man!

In conclusion, Richard, there’s your point by point. Bryan, shut the hell up, until you have a clue or two.

    36. Kyle Says:
      December 29th, 2006 at 8:28 am

      Hey Dick,
      … you said:

//I can’t decide which Republican line to buy. Are we safer because we’re fighting them over there instead of over here. Or, are we constantly assailed with threats of terrorism. Please fill me in and tell me if I’m suppose to be afraid.//

I don’t understand what you don’t get. Yes, we’re safer for fighting terrorists abroad. And yes, we need to continue to do so, because they continue to pose a threat.

These “lines” or arguments are mutually exclusive (you do know what that means, right?). Why do you have a problem with them? Oh, right… because your liberal brain can’t process ideas incongruent with the pablum fed to you by the DFL.

    37. Shozzy Says:
      December 29th, 2006 at 8:47 am

Excellent Chestnut. I don’t have the patience to humor the fools, although I do pity the fools.

Mostly I just think WTF? and find humor in liberals who spend time on conservative sites trying to justify their moronic, naive beliefs while attacking ours. Regurgitating terminology from Poli Sci 101 does not prove your intelligence.

“A life”, my friends, do try to find one in this new year. Cheers!
