Hey, DJZ let's review a few items as to why this
cipher was elected 6 years ago ! The Morgan Grams
problems which were endlessly reviewed ! The Chris Grams phoney emails which our MSM was hot
on the trail of. Compare this to one of KLOBUCHAR's staffers trying to steal Info off of
the Kennedy consultant's website ! Interesting
how this little weasel immediately get's the same
lawyer that is suing MR. BRODKORB (in a bogus suit) and how quickly the MSM sweeps the whole
thing under the carpet ! DJZ you and your DFL party and your MEDIA P.R. agents are all a pack
of AMORAL Liars and Cheaters !

Yeah, I think everybody from all sides of the political spectrum (up to and including Dayton himself) would agree that there's no way in Hell he'd ever get any sort of endorsement, let alone win the popular vote.

I think "coward" is fair for Dayton. He turned tail and fled, closing his office when no other Senator did the same.

Seriously though, I can't imagine a world where he'd actually land on the gubernatorial ticket. There are simply too many better democrats to run against him in the primary -- they'd out fund-raise him, and they'd quite simply kill him with his track record.

Dayton can ponder all he wants. He'd fully earn is "idiot credentials" if he actually put his hat in the ring.

Coward? Nutjob maybe.... C'mon Michael, calling him a coward is a stretch. And when you factor in your blog anonymity it just gives Blois more ammo.

I guess the best way to ensure that Dayton loose is for him to run as a Republican.

Get over it, he kicked Grams ass six years ago.

I think a Dayton candidacy would be the best thing that could happen for the republicans. Honestly he has to be one of the most beatable candidate they could endorse. I think Hatch will stay in the public eye until 010so he can run again. He can be the new Harold Stassen (sp?)/perenial candidate.

In the mean time someone needs to talk to Governor Pawlenty and straighten him out on what it means to be a republican. He's falling over himself in his mad dash to the left. Throwing aside nearly all conservative values to posture himself for a VP bid in 08. Come on Tim. Vowing to sell out small bar owners in favor of a state wide smoking ban, stating It's going to happen sooner or later anyway. The science behind the SS (Stop Smoking) crowd in dubious at best. I heard a figure of 5,600 people die from second hand smoke per year in Minnesota. I could argue that every one of those people was also exposed to car exhaust, and any number of airborn substances. As yet no one has told me that there is a difference between a tumor from smoking, and a tumor from any other source.

Note: I am a non smoker who has lost people very close to me from cancer.

A few years ago we had a freak snowstorm and the liberals were claiming that Pawlenty created the snowstorm in order to kill people.

A guess Pawlenty must have got a hold of Cheney's Halliburtion Hurricane Machine and adjusted it for a snowstorm.

Dayton would close his office if there were a three inch snow. He wouldn't want his bus-commuting employees to have to stand out in all that anthrax, you know.

I wonder if Governor if Dayton-Marshall Fields-Macy would close his office for a week due to Paul Douglass over at WDFL saying there might be a snowstorm?

Ritchie already is starting the ball rolling by claiming all GOP votes would be purged due to the will of the voters.

This could actually be incredibly confusing.

Assuming Lori runs again for AG in 4 years, she'd occupy the office across from the Governor at the Capitol, but she really wouldn't because Hatch would still be there.

Dayton, if he won, would occupy the office across from Hatch that Lori has, except he wouldn't because he'd put a note on the door telling people he was scared to go in there.

So does that mean maybe Lori would set up shop in the Governor's office? And if Lori decided to occupy the vacant Governor's office, would that mean that Hatch would really be there so Lori could continue to office downtown, and would Dayton then go to the AG's office, or would he be afraid of that office too?

I think this is a question for Ritchie, unless he wants to avoid dealing with these partisan issues.
