KELLIHER PROMISES CIVILITY
By Michael B. Brodkorb | January 3, 2007
"I think the biggest thing that folks have to remember is this is place where they elect folks to come and work in a civil manner to settle these thorny debates. We think it is very important to keep that on a respectful level and keep the civility in the process." Source: City Pages, January 3, 2007
We'll see how long the civility lasts.

Britt Robson is really becoming DFL P.R. agent,
isn’t he ? The only time the DFLERS ever want what they call “CIVILITY” is when it will stifle
legitimate criticism of their policies !

By their own reality-challenged definition, the DFLers are /always/ civil. Therefore the only question is how long it will be before a Republican says something they don’t like. In their world, civility (and bipartisanship) means that their ideas may never be challenged, and that attacking their ideas is a personal attack. Which it /is/.
I’ve said it before: liberals believe they are intellectually and morally superior to the rest of us. If you disagree with their ideas, you are suggesting (Horrors!) that you doubt that superiority, and it is thus a personal “attack.” The best thing, IMHO though I’ve not seen it tried, is to tell them to “deal with it” and “convince me.” “Pretend I’m as stupid as you think I am, and explain it to me.”

if anyone can criticize others for being uncivil, it’s you three.
