MEET A MARK RITCHIE CONTRIBUTOR: RADICAL ENVIRONMEMTALIST WENDY GORDON ROCKEFELLER

By Michael B. Brodkorb | January 3, 2007

Wendy Gordon Rockefeller contributed $150.00 on September 2, 2006 to Mark Ritchie’s campaign.

WHO IS WENDY GORDON ROCKEFELLER?

“Wendy Gordon Rockefeller is an environmental health scientist and the co-founder of Mothers and Others for a Livable Planet (MOLP), a consumer advocacy organization that promotes products it deems environmentally friendly, and conversely condemns products it regards as hazardous to human health and the environment. Its assessment of these products, however, is often politically or economically motivated and lacks credible scientific substantiation. Like other radical environmentalist advocacy groups, MOLP has been known to use scare tactics that cite questionable research and warn consumers of the alleged ‘dangers’ of a particular product, while simultaneously steering them to purchase ‘natural’ and ‘organic’ alternatives.” Source: Discover the Networks

Rockefeller is also the vice president of the Rockefeller Family Fund.

“The Rockefeller Family Fund (RFF) was incorporated in 1967 by Martha, John, Laurance, Nelson, and David Rockefeller. Its principal beneficiaries are leftwing environmental and women’s groups. Several RFF board members lead the San Francisco-based TechRocks Company, which provides information-technology support and development for a number of radical, anti-corporate, non-profit organizations. The RFF website features articles harshly critical of the Bush administration and its alleged ‘exploitation of wilderness areas,’ its ‘violations of the Clean Air Act,’ and its war on terror.” Source: Discover the Networks

One of the best ways to learn about Minnesota’s new Secretary of State, Mark Ritchie, is to examine the background of his camaign contributors. Over the next week, I’ll be posting information about the ultra-liberal, leftist, pro-Castro, anti-business, communist sympathizers who contributed to Mark Ritchie’s campaign.  Check back tomorrow for another post on a Ritchie campaign contributor.

Scared that Secretary of State Mark Ritchie might quickly shoot to national prominence and outshine T-Paw and Norm in their upcoming moments of glory?

    Look into it:

    http://www.ocdhope.com/drug_treatment_of_ocd_in_adults.htm

“OCD is a potentially devastating illness that can result in considerable social and economic disability for both afflicted patients as well as for their family members. OCD is usually treated with a combination of specific behavioral therapies, called exposure and response prevention, and medications. It is important to note that many psychoactive medications are not likely to help OCD symptoms, but that a number of partially-effective drugs have now been carefully evaluated. The treatment, however, for most OCD patients should involve the combination of behavior therapy with medications. This pamphlet will focus on medications, but that is not meant to diminish the importance of behavior therapy.”

Why let actual science get in the way of a good scare tactic?

Did any normal people contribute to Ritchie?

  4. DJZ Says:
    January 3rd, 2007 at 2:25 PM

You’re really pissed that you got disrespected by Ritchie at the meeting aren’t you?

What is the point of all of this (except to let some of us know who to call for donations), since Ritchie won?

Did Mary Kiffy promise you a job after the elections?

  5. Jeff Says:
    January 3rd, 2007 at 2:51 PM

what good does this do now? he already won the election, get over it.

  6. San Soucri Says:
    January 3rd, 2007 at 3:14 PM

Yes, you sound like a Democrat following the Bush election.

Get over the fact he is in office. There is nothing you can do about it.

Complaining about an election is childish.

Or a DFL’er after T-Paw’s election. How many Strib articles were there about last minute out of state swift boat money?

I think you guys will just have to bear this long freak show of Ritchie contributors. I’m kind of enjoying it.

  8. Jeff Says:
    January 3rd, 2007 at 4:18 PM

or many GOP’ers after Tpaw’s recent ideas

  9. Sean Says:
    January 3rd, 2007 at 4:19 PM

See– think about it, if you got rid of the Estate Tax then this crazy radical leftie would have even more money to give to people like that crazy radical leftie– Mark Ritchie!

    It’s spelled “environmeNtalist”

Broadkorb, you have really taken leave of the little remaining sense that you have. Your posting makes you look like a God damn fool.

Your hatred of this women — not even a Minnesota Democrat in need of exposing — is based on her concern for the environment. If you have kids, Broadkorb, take them to a toxic spill to swim and then feed us your idiotic shit when they’re in the ER.

  12. San Soucri Says:
    January 3rd, 2007 at 8:27 PM

Tim Pawlenty does not have a rock to stand on anymore.

The Legislature will get whatever its wants while AG Hatch (Swanson) will come after him at all cost.

  13. Michael Says:
    January 3rd, 2007 at 8:30 PM

WASHINGTON – Rep.-elect Keith Ellison, the first Muslim elected to Congress, will use a Quran once owned by Thomas Jefferson during his ceremonial swearing-in Thursday.

Damn that radical leftist, america hating, moonbat Thomas, the bible isn’t good enough for me, Jefferson!!!!

  14. TRUM Says:
    January 3rd, 2007 at 9:17 PM

I learned one thing by reading this post: Paul Bartlett doesn’t have an ounce of class. Why would you wish anything against somebody’s kids? When you’re done plugging Ritchie, go find yourself a life.

  15. Mark Says:
    January 4th, 2007 at 9:15 AM

    Yeah, $150.00.

That’s keeping me up at night.

  18. Jeff Says:
    January 4th, 2007 at 12:28 PM

Wow, jimj, that’s your 2nd bout of intellectual genius that you’ve bestowed upon us here, keep it up. Do yo have your own blog? I’d love to read your nonsense day in and day out. I can’t get enough of your grammatical errors and gross misuse of CAPITAL LETTERS.

Also, what the fuck is “DFL toxic waste pond they call Lake Calhoun” supposed to mean? Fwiw, i have a conservative friend who ALSO has a $350k condo 1 block from Calhoun, i don’t get it…
