CONGRESSMAN TIM WALZ AKA CONGRESSMAN FIRSTNAME LASTNAME AKA CONGRESSMAN TICKETMASTER

By Michael B. Brodkorb | January 14, 2007

This comment was just left on Minnesota Democrats Exposed:

"Well I happen to live in the First District and Walz'[s] web site doesn't even have information about how to contact his district offices, but it does tell you how to get tickets to any sporting event in or near Washington, D.C. I guess that’s what happens when you don't have people with a connection to your constituents running your web site. At least Bachmann's site tells you how to contact her."

Chris is correct.  If you want tickets to the Washington Mystics of the WNBA or tickets to the Baltimore Orioles, then visit Congressman Walz's website.  Was Congressman Walz (aka Congressman FirstName LastName) elected to work for TicketMaster or to Congress?

Congressman Tim Walz aka Congressman FirstName LastName aka Congressman TicketMaster might want to consider adding information about the 1st Congressional District to his website.

Can LastName get me good seats at a Capitol’s game?

Maybe I can sit in Starkist’s corporate box.

The House IT team creates these [lousy] templates for incoming members.

Walz would have done better using the template for a while, then getting people to beta test his site before letting it go live.

Bachmann’s site has similar problems. Dump Bachmann pointed that one out. After that was pointed out, the Bachmann staff fixed that error and posted her bio. The bio was riddled with errors and false statements, and after Dump Bachmann challenged Bachmann’s office to back up the statement that the district encompassed one of the “nations largest financial services sectors”, Bachmann’s staff scrubbed the bio.

Did anyone check to see if Walz got campaign contributions from Ticketmaster? Just curious…

[...] Rep. Keith Ellison (D-MN5) is a bit too busy to pay much attention to informing his constituents about who he is and what he was doing. He still has yet to have his name appear on the browser bar of his Official webpage. You may remember when Brodkorb made hay out of another freshman’s tardiness in the matter when Rep. Tim Walz (D-MN1) took his sweet old time to fill in the blanks. That was over a month ago. [...]
