Almost two weeks after being sworn in, Congressman Walz's website lists his name as Congressman FirstName LastName. Click the picture for a larger image.

So earlier this week, Walz confirms for us in the newspaper interviews that he and his Dem colleagues don’t have any plan for Iraq. He essentially says that their policy will be “we are against whatever the President wants”
Now, after two weeks in office, Walz’s Web site reminds us that he really doesn’t even have his own identity anyway.
He should either keep it generic, or put Nancy Pelosi’s name in where his might otherwise go.

Other name ideas for Walz’s bio banner:
Congressman FogHorn LegHorn
Congressman HeSaid SheSaid
Congressman SameOld SameOld

Well, even Firstname Lastname is definite improvement over Gil Guttneckt…. =)

Ha! That reminds me of the time Michele Bachmann’s congressional website had a map of the 7th district. Which, of course, was last week.

Well I happen to live in the First District and Walz’ web site doesn’t even have information about how to contact his district offices, but it does tell you how to get tickets to any sporting event in or near Washington, D.C. I guess that’s what happens when you don’t have people with a connection to your constituents running your web site. At least Bachmann’s site tells you how to contact her.

Yup, Dump Bachmann pointed that one out. After that was pointed out, the Bachmann staff fixed that error and posted her bio. The bio was riddled with errors and false statements, and after Dump Bachmann challenged Bachmann’s office to back up the statement that the district encompassed one of the “nations largest financial services sectors”, Bachmann’s staff scrubbed the bio.
The Walz website needs to be fixed. A number of the links don’t work and the contact information for the district offices needs to be added. I’m sure his staff will appreciate your work, Michael.

Bachmann’s website has the same problem. So does Keith Ellison’s.
