As I have previously posted, the minimum wage hike is a non-factor in the economy for the most part. Many places are already paying higher wages.

Having said that, this reeks with hypocrisy. I am going to ask Colin Peterson a straight up question about this the next time he is in Marshall. I think all members of both parties who voted for this need to be confronted about this hypocrisy. If it is going to be raised, there should be no exceptions. None.

Nancy Pelosi got exactly what she wanted.

They took advantage of a great political environment and elected a bunch of Congressmen FirstName LastNames, and Walz just happens to be the one who doesn’t represent Minnesota’s First District.

One of Congressman FirstName LastName’s first Pelosi duties was to author a bill that hiked the minimum wage, except for a huge company in her district. Congressman FirstName LastName champions a ridiculous increase in the minimum wage, but doesn’t think it is a good idea for American Samoa, where the company in Pelosi’s district employs about 75% of the workforce.

One of his subsequent duties was to give the rebuttal to President Bush’s radio address on an issue that just days earlier he told a newspaper that the Democrats have NO PLAN.

Voters of the First District, the more you learn about Pelosi’s Minnesota version of her little team of Congressmen FirstName LastName, the more buyer’s remorse I suspect you will have.

“Here, watch us cut the pork” the Democrats say out one side of their mouth while inventing a new form of “bringing home the tuna” by simply exempting influential voices in their district from laws.

Less pork.
More tuna.
Same old Democrats.
