Why shovel when it will be 80 degrees in about 3 weeks?

Michael,
Get a snow blower. I got one for Christmas two years ago and it is wonderful. Yeah, exercise is good, but snowblowers are fun to run, make lots of noise, pollute the air, and make money for big business. From what I can see, its a big win for the GOP.

Personally, I like to hire illegal aliens for all of my snow clearing needs.

Get a snow blower.
Another shill for Big Snow (the evil snow blowing industry).

I think government should ban snow shovels as a public health issue, and require every homeowner to install a snow blower in the garage. Of course, it would have to meet minimum state requirements– 12hp 4-cycle, two stage, self-propelled, electric start.

If you believed as this commie from Columbia Heights does, the government would be required to plow all driveways for us – for our own good.
No right to bad choices
A Jan. 6 letter writer stated that his seat belt use “has no effect whatsoever on anyone else on the road” and proceeded to use the buckle-up law as the first step in many safety laws (no smoking, no trans fat, etc.) to take away people’s freedom of choice.
Hasn’t he heard of skyrocketing health care costs? When someone doesn’t use a seat belt, or chooses to smoke, or eats lots of trans fat foods, they often end up with long-term health care issues. Then everyone’s insurance premiums go up, and then taxes go up to help pay for their health care.
There are consequences to what people choose to do. Whenever they impact others, there can and should be laws made to protect those not making poor choices.
According to this commie, the government not only has the right to control your every move, but the obligation.
Perhaps with her reasoning we should be asking the state to use the $2.2 billion surplus to buy us all 12hp, 4 cycle, two stage, self-propelled, electric start snow blowers. After all, the person who makes the obviously poor choice of shoveling (potentially causing a heart attack and making our insurance premiums to rise) is doing so against the will and benefit of “the many”.
Michael, how dare you shovel!

Shoveling? You worked on Michele LastName/FirstName’s campaign… why not get her to intervene on your behalf with the Big Guy upstairs and ask Him not to let it snow in your yard?? I’m sure she’s got pull…

HAHA. President Bachmann.
This woman is going to have nothing to show for her legislative accomplishments in 2008.
Freshman in the minority, she might as well stay back in Minnesota fostering children by the droves.
MDE – Please talk to God, or at least get Michelle to do so, I’m cold.
