MDE FROM THE ARCHIVES: FRANKEN JOKES ABOUT KILLING OF GAY MAN
By Michael B. Brodkorb | January 17, 2007
"He [Al Franken] recalled writing a skit called 'Seamen on Broadway' that was rejected from the Hasty Pudding show 'by some preppie so they could take some other preppie's skit.' Franken started to smile again, but his tone was serious, too serious. 'It's not preppies, cause I'm a preppie myself. I just don't like homosexuals. If you ask me, they're all homosexuals in the Pudding. Hey, I was glad when that Pudding homosexual got killed in Philadelphia.' The smile became so broad it pushed his eyes shut. He couldn't stand it any longer. 'Put that in, put that in,' Franken laughed, leaning over the desk. 'I'd love to see that in The Crimson.'" Source: Harvard Crimson, April 16, 1976

That's hilarious, Al. The murder of a human-being is funny to you. Is laughing at the death of "that Pudding homosexual" a midwest value?
Please check back to Minnesota Democrats Exposed for more information on this developing story.

I don’t think that the killing of another human being is at all a laughable matter regardless of whether you like them at all or not.
If stuff like this can be dug up right now there has to be a ton more stuff out there about Franken. This should be fun to watch, let the games begin.

Norm Coleman is an extremely compassionate man, who has a passion to get things done for all people.
Al Franken is clearly a cold hearted stooge. When backed into a corner on these kinds of issues he will lose his cool. Ie, GOP convention 2004.

“Support the Troops” Franken defames the troops in a p—-g contest with Henry Kissenger:

Eva?
Is making jokes about killing homosexuals an acceptable thing for a US Senate candidate (even one with a ‘D’ after their name)?
I’m sure the Left-wing blogosphere will find some reason to find this acceptable, “oh, it was years ago when he made light of killing gays.”
The more we know. . .

There are many similarities between the Gay Community and the African American Community in this respect.
As communities (although I would prefer to maintain people’s individuality), both blacks and gays vote overwhelmingly for Dems.
And what does it get them? It gets them taken for granted. It gets them a former Klan leader as a Dem Senate leader, it gets them a guy who jokes about killing gays as the likely front runner to compete against Senator Coleman. It gets them failing schools and crime ridden cities and a pat on the head.
Franken has a past and a present and probably a future that Minnesotans should be embarassed to embrace should they choose to do so.
Killing gays is funny Al?
You and the Rev. Phelps should go out for coffee sometime. You probably have a lot in common.

I would hope that Minnesotans are not stupid enough to elect someone like Franken to any public office, but then again, we elected Kloburchar and the only difference between the two of them is Franken is more crude.

CD-5 Minnesotans were also duped into voting for Ellison. Don’t let this happen with Franken. Go Michael!

Hey MDE..you need to keep this stuff quiet until Al is knee deep into the campaign! If you prematurely eject him it will free up money and resources he will otherwise send swirling down the toilet.
Let’s wait until the Democrat party embraces him..then we’ll beat them over the head with Al’s folded, spindled and mutilated carcass.

Let me see if I have this right. Mr. Brodkorb worked on the campaign of noted gay-hater Michelle Bachmann, and he is criticizing Al Franken for homophobic comments he made over thirty years ago?
No wonder no one takes you people seriously.

I fully support the GOP and its placeholders in their efforts to have Al Franken crucified. I don’t like him and I don’t like his comedy. Who does he think he is with his fancy absurdist statements and dry intellectual commentary? Why, I remember watching reruns of late 70’s Franken on SNL…you know what? He was making all sorts of crazy comments and I was like, “You better not run for Senate some day, or else people with no sense of humour who are filled with stupifying indignation and complete blindess to the real issues will use your brand of humor to try to inflame other idiots.” Yep, that is JUST what I said to myself. But seriously, read the full Crimson article and try to claim that Franken was being anything but a complete clown. He was making fun of Harvard, the reporter, the people he works with…everyone. He was joking. Comedians do that from time to time. Duh.
