WALZ VOTE WATCH #2: 100% VOTING RECORD WITH ULTRA-LIBERAL PELOSI

By Michael B. Brodkorb | January 22, 2007

Candidate Tim Walz proclaimed he would be an "independent leader for Southern Minnesota."  But Congressman Tim Walz follows the lead of ultra-liberal Speak Nancy Pelosi.  Walz hasn't show one bit of "independence" since taking office.

I know it's early, but Walz has voted with Pelosi 100% when Pelosi votes.

I'll be posting a weekly analysis of Walz's votes to show he's no "independent leader" like he claimed he would be in Washington.

Jim Ramstad voted with the Democrats on several of the early bills.

I think a big test for Waltz will be what should be no-brainer votes but the fundamentalists on the left force many Dems to vote their way.

Reasonable regulation of the abortion industry for example.

How do you feel about Jim Ramstad’s 100% voting record with Nancy Pelosi?

    Sean

We wouldn’t be the least bit excited if a Republican voted with Republicans, although Democrats obviously try to “criminalize” such voting records through their allies in the sycophantic leftist media. So why should anybody be surprised when a Democrat votes with Democrats? If anybody expected Tim Walz to do otherwise, they’re a darn fool, and deserve to have it pointed out loudly and often.

No, the real surprise, disappointment, and anger should be directed at supposed Republicans who vote with Democrats, like Jim Ramstad.

Did Tim Walz use public assets to assist his congressional campaign?

I wonder if he talked about his campaign in class
at the public school where he taught. Or if he used his school email for any campaign organizing.

    Has anyone looked into that?

If a republican teacher solicited his or her students to help him campaign through the public school system would the left have anything to say about that?

We’ve got some regular sleuths here!

What a ridiculous article. It’s not even worth trying to see past the hypocrisy to see if there’s any meat to this posting.

    Two words for you:

    JIM RAMSTAD

“If a republican teacher solicited his or her students to help him campaign through the public school system would the left have anything to say about that? ”

Would a public school teacher ever dare be a Republican? Openly? Isn’t there a union rule, or something?

Oh man, I can see the commercials already…

“I’m Dick Day and I approved this message” (Cue the scary music and voice) “Liberal Tim Walz…Out of step with the first district…He voted to increase the minimum wage, negotiate prescription drug costs, decrease student loan interest rates, implement the 9/11 commission recommendations, reduce oil subsidies, expand stem-cell research, and toughen congressional ethics rules….Is this really the type of man you want representing you…”

And then everyone watching at home will say, “well, yes, actually, that exactly what we voted for” and Representative Walz will cruise to another term in office.

Ok will this help. Ramstad should go to. Why is it that dems never rip their own, it is always well you did it to.

  10. BigJC Says:

Don’t you just love the hypocracy of these idiots?

They whined for a year about Kennedy voting “95% with Bush”.

Now these jokers who campaign on being “independent” vote 100% with the Liberal from the Sea and all they can do is shout “Jim Ramstad”.

Sorry, folks. That’s no defense. That’s a deflection.

Walz isn’t independent, he’s a lacky of Pelosi. He’s tied at the hip to this liberal old bag. He lied to get elected and should expect to be unelected in two years for it. The voters in his district already know they’ve been fooled and won’t be fooled again.

  11. J. Ewing Says:
    January 23rd, 2007 at 10:28 AM

I don’t know. If you say the voters were “fooled” it sounds like you’re a Democrat. That was and continues to be the Democrats belief as to why Ronald Reagan one twice, and probably why George Bush won twice, that they “fooled” the electorate. I prefer to think that the voters knew what they were doing, but fooled themselves as to the price they would pay for doing it. In any event, they should have their eyes open by the next election.

The reason we scream Jim Ramstad is to show that these bills that Walz has voted for have bipartisan support and are not the work of the ultra-liberal Nancy Pelosi. When it comes down purely party lines, maybe we will see some Walz deflections but when it comes to legislation that isnt ultra liberal but is purely common sense and accepted by both parties generally or at least somewhat, Walz will of course be voting the way Democrats vote.

Who knows, maybe in two years we will see Walz lied but I bet he has all the intentions of going in there being independent and moderate but sometimes those votes to display that ideology dont come up.
