ANGRY AL FRANKEN’S TEMPER SHOWN ON 60 MINUTES

By Michael B. Brodkorb | February 25, 2007

During a segment on 60 Minutes this evening about Bill O'Reilly, footage of a confrontation between O'Reilly and Al Franken was shown.  Franken's clearly has a problem with anger.

If you think being angry at proven liars is a bad thing, then I can see why you support Norm Coleman.

Angry Al is the biggest proven liar in that contest. Well, him and Michael Moore, Algore, Fred Garvin and Roving Reporter.

That’s pretty much what liberals do, act angry and outraged. Lots of history’s worst dictators were phenomenal liberals. Articulate, charismatic, talented at sewing hate.

Guys like Al Franken can’t argue on substance, so they lie about and demonize the opposition. They get all whipped up, and bring weak-minded cowards with them.

Anger is not an agenda. Complaints are not a plan. The DFL is full of plenty of the former and none of the later.

Is this the same Bill O’Reilly who has four New York Times #1 Bestsellers and has won two Emmy awards in journalism? I seem to remember one of the Democrats here (Christine) who said those were qualifications to elect someone U.S. Senator.

I’d love to see O’Reilly run for U.S. Senate. Then we could see what’s in his closet…wink wink.

Michael, did you even watch that clip!? The only person who is “angry” in the exchange between O’Reilly and and Franken is big Bill. “Shut up!”– Bill O’Reilly’s favorite phrase.

Wow, Matt. You’re right. Bill O’Reilly is a REALLY ANGRY person.

At least O’Reilly hasn’t tackled any liberal-activist hecklers. But he did win two Emmy awards and has published four NY Times #1 best sellers. Christine Daly says that qualifies him to run for Senate.

Emmy awards and best sellers qualifies him to run for senate?

Being intelligent, witty, and informed on the problems facing America qualifies him to run for Senate.
