IT’S A SMALL WORLD

By Michael B. Brodkorb | February 28, 2007

As you can tell from the picture below, I'm not in Minnesota, but that doesn't mean I'm not walking on the beach looking for a scoop or good story.  For example, I was walking to get some dinner and who do I see frolicking on the beach? A women who looks exactly, and I mean exactly, like Amy Klobuchar's former communications director Tara McGuinness.  That's right…this Tara McGuinness.

As a part-time consultant to Mark Kennedy's campaign, I saw Tara at a few campaign events, but we have never spoken. If I see this woman tomorrow, I may introduce myself and confirm that she is Tara.  On the other hand, if it is Tara, I don't want to ruin her vacation.

Yeah, after getting fired from a cherry gig, I like to take a tropical vacation too.

When you saw her, was she stealing Bahamian intellectual property?

Wow Mike, it isn’t disturbing at all that you watched Tara from afar, watching, watching, never talking to her… She’s actually a very nice and approachable woman, but I wouldn’t expect you to comprehend those subtle and complex human characteristics.

Also, I don’t think that bringing up your last job on a campaign where your guy lost by 20 points is a good way to drum up future business. Just a little piece of advice.

I just checked and you have to go back to the 1978 special election to see a margin larger than that.

    Michael,
You better watch your back . . .

Dude, you’re an ass. It’s unfortunate you squander a vacation like that with political jabs. Get laid instead.

    I think you should multi-task.

Keep up with the political jabs, AND get laid.

Some of you Liberals have a total lack of vision.

Tara’s boss has plans to raise my taxes, which will take money out of my pocket, which will mean that I won’t have money to take a vacation.

Given that Tara’s boss is planning to ruin my chances to take a vacation, I don’t have any problem with you ruining her vacation.

    Well said, Jack!

Michael, enjoy your vacation; pay more attention to Mrs. B than to the beach scenery or the blog.

    Sincerely,
    Rachel Ray

Taxes are what you pay for living in America- all the great infrastruture support and protection. I was just in Poland- YUCK!
You could always go where Mikey is and live there and pay less in taxes.

    Tara,
If you are reading this, there is no extradiction agreement between where you are and the United States. Finish him off, once and for all. Your payment and new identity will be waiting for you in the agreed location.
Bring me back a T-shirt too.

    DJZ,

What is it with the far left’s fixation on assassinating conservatives? You were probably the one who posted things on the Huffington Post rooting for the terrorists who tried to off Cheney in Afghaniztan. You people are the most mean spirited bunch I have ever seen.

DJZ — so we’ve learned you’re an idiot, but also an idiot with no knowledge of history.

That experience you had in Poland was brought to you by… COMMUNISIM, the be-all, end-all of liberal government. You know, the Soviets who occupied Poland until after the cold-war… those same guys that Democrats said weren’t such bad guys, and if only we could be more like the U.S.S.R.?

Speaking of sending disidents to Siberia… Wow, yes… what vision those liberals have!

    Moron.

  13. Willie Says:
    March 3rd, 2007 at 10:44 PM

Better yet, DJZ – forget Poland – how about Afghanistan. Perhaps you could be the buffer between Al Qaeda and Cheney.

  14. DJZ Says:
    March 4th, 2007 at 9:50 AM

    Chris,
Talk to me when it really happens. The only assasinations have been from the Right on Left. Whether we’re talking about abortion clinic doctors being murdered and targeted for murder to Kennedy and MLK.
On the Right you got groups like the KKK and Neo-Nazi’s who advocate violence openly and tend to vote and support the far Right candidates and Conservative issues in general (they are anti immigration, affirnmative action, givornement support, and the government in general).

So ask the question of why YOUR party and politics attract the most hateful and violent group in America?

  15. DJZ Says:
    March 5th, 2007 at 8:08 AM

Al Quieda doesn’t want to kill Cheney. They need each other, he funds them and empowers their allies, they blow something up and make his plans seem legit. He’s been making deals with their funders for two decades.

I wouldn’t be surprised if we found out that the attack was staged, or Cheney had the base where he’d be leaked.

  16. Kyle Says:
    March 5th, 2007 at 9:06 AM

    DJZ, are you serious?

Oswald, a communist (read: Lefty), killed JFK. The guys in the KKK who killed King… Those guys were Democrats… you see, it was Democrats who were the biggest supporters of slavery and greatest opponents to civil rights in the 1960s.

And speaking of hate groups and violence… What do you say of the hundres (thousands?) murdered by the Eco-terrorist/fascists? (e.g. ALF, ELF, etc.) … not to mention the billions in property and other damage they’ve caused.

Finally, you’re comment on Cheny and Al Queda… That’s the sort of pained argument that makes it so difficult to take liberals seriously. Something more stupid and uninformed is hard to imagine… but then again, we’ve read your other posts…
