AP: FRANKEN RAISED $1.3 MILLION IN FIRST QUARTER, $1 MILLION COH

By Michael B. Brodkorb | April 4, 2007

"WASHINGTON — Minnesota Senate candidate Al Franken, a Democrat, announced today his campaign had raised more than $1.3 million in the first quarter of the year, finishing the period with over $1 million in the bank.

Franken, a former 'Saturday Night Live' performer and more recently a liberal radio talk show host, raised the money since announcing his candidacy on Feb. 14." Source: Associated Press, April 4, 2007

Maybe he could use some of that money to payback the boys and girls club in New York who used their money to pay his salary when he was on Air America….or maybe some mouth wash for his potty mouth. Great candidate DFL !!!! UGH!

Money will not be a problem for Al Franken. Just as lack of character was not a deal breaker for Keith Ellison.

The DFL nomination is all Al’s. It’s his to lose. Just like it’s Hillary’s to lose.

Hey if Ellison and Franken had an airline would it be called El Al?

Full article says the money has come in from all 50 states. I suppose Norm is also getting money from elsewhere. Someone should do a summary of who gets the most(least) from Minnesota.

Drew if Al and Ellison opened an airline it would be “Hot Air”. If one of the muslems didn’t fly the plane into the ground, you would want to jump off since all they would show on the movie screen is old un-funny bits feturing Franken. ;)

I am wondering what you mean by “if one of the muslems didnt fly the plane into the ground” Big Kahuna because I really hope that isnt something racially overtoned talking about Muslims and flying planes and such.

::claps:: Yay Al, bring in the big bucks!

Just how much of Franken’s money is from people like Soros, Morons er Moveon.org, etc? I’m betting most of it!
