LIBERAL BLOGGERS EXPRESS FRUSTRATION ABOUT DFL LEADERSHIP DURING 2007 SESSION
By Michael B. Brodkorb | May 22, 2007
- "We had an opportunity to show conservatives in Greater Minnesota that the politics of the DFL are the politics of the people of this state. They failed." Source: Blue man in a Red district, May 22, 2007
- "The bill was just totally shoved down the house's throat by Sertich and Kelliher. It passed 97-37. I’m not too happy that democracy was stifled by the party I support." Source: I Don't Hate America, May 22, 2007
- "The party’s big names will crow about ending the session on time, but they failed. They failed to lead, deliver and, even worse, they failed to launch a convincing fight." Source: Christopher Truscott, May 22, 2007

There is hope if some of the lefties are posting critical of the democrats handling of the session.
Hal Kimball tends to be pretty thought provoking. Truscott has posted a few times on wrightrepublican.blogspot.com
If we can foster more civil discussion and less character assassination we migh get something done.

I don’t really have a problem with compromise — it’s reality. But I think it’s too clear that the DFL was setting up for 2008 rather than pressing harder to get a better deal. You’ll never get anything — even without divided government — but you have to do more than they did. And when you get a majority, like the DFL did, you have to govern.

“You’ll never get anything” should read: “You’ll never get everything.”
Sorry — like everyone else, I was up late.

I find it very funny that the DFL is failing by even it’s own standards.
Of course the Red Star is trying to play this off as all the governor’s fault and our DFL party of course is forgiven by them.
Should not be that far in the future that the MN DFL party has a major breakdown. Then can hide the lies and decite for only so long before the public starts to see through their smoke and mirrors.
