Oh, you guys just can’t stand it that George W. Bush was re-elected to a 2nd term, long after the country knew about the WMDs– 60 Million people voted for him and his popularity ratings are on par with most late 2-term presidents. I love that he makes you so mad. I hated Bill Clinton too, so I “feel your pain”. Don’t worry, George is almost done. I can’t wait till he sits back like the class-act he is and gets out of the limelight like any good former president should.

If there had to be a Dem in the White House, I’m fully confident they’d achieve absolutely nothing just like Clinton I and Carter achieved nothing. Of course, those two jackasses know nothing about staying out of the limelight for the sake of their “legacies”.

Which Bush are you claiming to have destroyed nearly every core priciple the country has? Then again I would like to hear your view of what this country’s core priciples are. That would be good for a laugh I am sure. Can someone say “Socialism” I am sure Manny can.

I also think you could have written in your opion about how 70% of the country “hates” you?? Please site your source for this tidbit of information by the great enlightend Manny.

Hillary’s statement is another version of her “It Takes a Village” mentality. Liberals keep denying the problems the core of their beliefs in socialism which means that Ms. Clinton’s statements won’t raise an eyebrow to those on the left or be talked about by the media for what it is. If she has her way all personal liberties would be destroyed with their tortured interpretation of the commerce clause.

Oh I have absolutely admitted the DFL was out of control. Look at every single tax-a-palooza post, I always said I support some of the taxes but they pushed entirely too many and it was stupid to do so.

The DFL may be in trouble in 2008, we may lose some house seats which I think is only natural, the GOP lost some seats in 1996 after their Republican revolution I believe. The DFL rode the blue wave, got some lucky seats that will probable be taken back. I dont think though the Republicans will take back the House, and if they do, bravo, we probably deserve it.

Although your comments about the president, false. I firmly believe every Democrat will come together, regardless of the nominee, rally behind them and work our asses off. Hillary comes off divisive and may not attract as many independents, but you can be sure the Democrats are PISSED that Bush ruined our country for the past 8 years and we dont care who gets the nomination, we are winning this one.

My suggestion, vote Guilianni, he is your only hope.

The nice part is how so many in MN are coming to realize this and I believe the DFL will be handed thier first defeat in MN in many, many years.

I do believe the DFL may have played their last best hand in 2006 and will be in some big trouble for 2008.

The democrats may be all puffed out and pleased with their picks for president in 2008 but the reality of it is they have many who even democrats will not vote for! I cannot see any way that Hillary wins! Which of course is a great thing because I cannot imagine a worse president that what Hillary would be. Obama is a fad and will lose his steam for a bit and than gain it back as the polls show Hillary cannot win. Which will be fun to watch as we all know she does not take “no” very well.

Will be like Hatch and blame the voters for not electing her.

Andrew you seem to want to bring the light to Pawlenty instead of your side which have caved and played bait and switch games. I have yet to see you ever admit that the DFL is out of control and in trouble! Instead you always seem to want to divert attention away from any DFL issues that make them look bad. HMMM……

The DFL campaigned on working in a bi-partisan manner. Then they elected Larry and Marge to the leadership position in the Senate and House. Showing that they were not interested in working with the Minority at all.

But at least they were smart enough not to let Larry and Marge speak to the public about the session.

Tim Pawlenty is the only politician that’s following through on his campaign promises.

I wouldnt blame the legislature, its what the voters wanted. Elect lots of DFL’ers who cant do what they got elected for because the voters also decided to elect Pawlenty. Minnesota likes divided politics apparently and this what happens when you have both parties ruling a part of the government. If the voters really wanted the DFL to accomplish their goals, they would’ve voted for Hatch.
