Al Franken is on the "Today" show talking about his campaign for the U.S. Senate. I'll post more after the interview.

Franken’s top three priorities:
1) Universal healthcare (IOW: ration care by waiting list)
2) Energy policy (IOW: ration energy by scarcity)
3) Improve standing in the World (IOW: surrender to our enemies and apologize for existing)

His stance on energy is quite reprehensible.
I can’t stand when lefties throw out junk like this:
“For too long our nation has been dependent on foreign oil. And this dependence leaves us more vulnerable to hostile regimes, and to terrorists — who could cause huge disruptions of oil shipments, raise the price of oil, and do great harm to our economy.”

and yet these DFLiars do not want tus to drill for new oil in Alaska or anywhere else….they think that wind will power our cars

But the DFL is sure behind ethanol production, even if it costs more than gasoline to produce. I wonder what their excuse for higher food costs will be because of corn prices going through the roof.
Think of all the poor illegals who won’t be able to afford tortillas. It has already become a hot issue in Mexico. I wonder what lies are they going to tell this block of voters? They seem to have a lie for every occasion.
