UPDATE: I cropped the invite to show the language about the contributions. It seems very clear to me: The more money you contribute to Mee Moua's campaign, the more work she will do for you.

Probably the most crooked politician ever in MN! Moua is so far left she makes Ellison seem mainstream.
If you think she was kidding about the donations amount try living in her area and not be a minority. You will find very quickly she is a special interest politician.
What pisses me off about her is her total lack of concern for the law. She has been pushing voting for illegals and has helped many homeless vote DFL for years. She is one who trades ciggs and food for votes, she just has yet to get caught!
If ever a politician that deserved to be publicly hanged for her wrong doings it is Moua!

This is about as blatant as it gets. While we all know that money is power in Saint Paul and Washington it is sad to see it advertised. Maybe at least this will keep the Democrat supporters from claiming they have any sort of high ground. Who am I kidding that will never happen.

Every invite to any fundraiser has a little contribution section and the more money, the better the title. The notation of being loud, uppity and whatnot is going with the theme of women raising their voices.

But we do that every day by making on average 23 cents more for every dollar we make compared to women. Another missed front page headline opportunity for the Red Star and and lead story for DFL Don’s newscast because there is a “D” instead of an “R” behind Moua’s name.
Andrew, where do I start? So it’s okay for your elected officials to help people break the laws that they draft and are supposed to uphold? Sounds pretty stupid to me, but it’s consistent with the mentality of the Left. The ends justifies the means no matter what it takes.
Secondly, you really must have been traumatized by your mother when she was dressing you up in girls clothing and telling you how “evil” men are if you believe that BS you’re spouting. I bet at least 25-30% of the votes for Moua are false votes of people who do not live in her district. God forbid we ask for ID when voting as we might keep one false vote for a DFL’er from being cast!

I am ashamed to say I once voted DFL but was not long before I came to realize what a mistake that truly was. people are leaving the cities in droves and those left are looking for ways out! It does not matter where you have a democRat run city there will be massive crime and short on public safety services.
My city does not cry for more money for police and Fire when state aid is not what they wanted. Yet I have more police in my rural city per person than Mpls does. We tend to fund what is NEEDED first and then worry about rooftop gardens and such later.
Name a DFL run city and I will point out the higher crime, higher taxes and less quality services that most would actually like to see.
Moua is a classic class warfare DFL’er. She is much like Wellstone in the fact she gets nothing done for her district. Look at the paper today! Once again it will be a Republican who will get Wellstones issue of Mental health issues fixed and a quality bill passed. Guess we should start to see “What would Ramstead do” bumper stickers.

Chestnut too true. I get going and forget which is which. We still have the house in St. Paul but did sell off the one in Minneapolis. The one in St. Paul is in her district. (Though now just a rental)

I think people assume that insults based on not knowing English are racist. I admit I find an undertone of that to it, though nothing outright racist, and don’t think it matters one bit how good her accent or grammar is as long as she is legally elected. Mee is an awful representative based just on what I know of the way she treats even her fellow legislators and staff. I think there is a lot of truth in the donation section of the invitation and DFL loyalists just can’t admit that their side runs on money in the same way they feel the Republicans do. It ruins their sense of self satisfaction.

The argument isnt, men excluded women so women can exclude men. The argument is, men excluded women, women are allowed to organize themselves and work together to no longer be excluded. The party is to celebrate womenhood and Minnesota being great about electing women to political office (third most in the country in case anyone cared or would be proud of). If you guys werent a bunch of straight white men, you would understand my point. But alas, you were simply born as a priveleged person.

Andrew, I’m not white and I’m not male either. It’s pretty presumptuous to think all conservatives are white males.
Moua’s poster does indeed make it appear she is selling her influence. I haven’t seen any evidence of the cigarettes for votes thing, but if Moua is doing this her butt should be nailed to the wall.
That said, I don’t see any reason to attend an all female party to feel empowered. That is espeically laughable at a DFL event since the DFL seems to want to do nothing more than make people more dependant.
I find Moua’s poster itself to be insulting and sexist. So for a female to be heard she has to scream? I’m surprised Moua didn’t go for the full fledged sexist term of hysterical! By the way, somebody should tell Moua that people listen more if you talk softly or whisper and tend to ignore screamers. You’d think Moua and the DFL would have learned that after what happened to Howard Dean.

The point of real interest in Michael’s post of this DFL fundraiser invitation is the connection implied between the donation dollar amount and the corresponding level of representation. But no one seems to want to talk about that which is right in Michael’s wheelhouse as his mission is to expose democrats.
I grin every time I see a lefty post that “it must be a slow news day”. With few exceptions it indicates that MDE has once again hit a nerve. He truly did with this post. The implied corruption is so blatant that it is downright comical.
Surely this diverse group of incredibly creative DFL women could come up with a more entertaining scenario than a pay-to-play scheme indicative of political corruption.
Another point of interest is how much joy posters take in saying the f-word and calling people names. It seems especially true when put forth under a pseudonym (alias, pen name). If I had a pen name it would likely be Parker Waterman or Bic Schaefer, but I digress.
The invocation of the effenheimer or other name calling reminds me of the day I gave a guy the finger on the highway for what I perceived as intentionally cutting me off, and then, ironicly I ended up parked next to him at church. It seemed incredibly important to express my feelings about his driving at the time but in the final analysis it didn’t do much for my credibility.
You see, in the end, it really is all about Mee!

About my comment about Mee…
She does come across as less than intelligent. She has a history of being very difficult to work with to the point many would say “bitch”.
She speaks english terribly and seems to make no effort to improve this.
She is rather rotund and as many on the left like to do I pointed this out much the same as the left does with Micheals hair or Rush’s weight.
So I feel nothing was said that is not a fact. She is not the brightest bulb in the senate, thus dumb comes to mind. She is a real witch to have to deal with, thus the bitch part. The comment about how fat and lazy she is could be done without but I like to make sure I spread some of the hate the liberals are so famous for.
As far as Mee’s legal issues. I know she has been quoted in the paper as rounding up bus loads of people to verify for them so they could vote in her district. Witnesses said they also noted many to be smoking fresh packs of ciggs when the busses came to the polling places. It would not be the first time the left has been pretty much busted buying votes. Mee not only approves of this she incourages other democRats to do the same. Again it is about power and the money one can gain from control in government. Moua is a thief and should be banned from politics! She had been pretty quiet for a while and I suspect that was the leaders in her party asking her to tone it down some.

First,
Big Kahuna, you are absolutely insane. Thanks to you and the disgustingly racist and sexist comments you have posted, women minorities from all political parties continue to be hesistant to run for political office, allowing our leadership to continue to prove unrepresentative of U.S. demographics. Clearly, people want Mee Moua to represent her as she was elected in 2002 with 60% of the vote. We should instead be celebrating her victory, as she is teh first Hmong American Senator of the U.S. Finally we are making progress. In addition, Big Kahuna, Mee attended Brown university, did you even attend college? If so, go back, you have yet to be educated.

You raised this issue on DB – and referred to unanswered issues on MDE. I don’t read every comment on DB in full. After you brought this comment to our attention, we looked into it – and found a comment that referred to hanging Michele Bachmann in the court of public opinion that was by a DB contributor. We have taken action based on that, and this person is no longer a contributor. Also worth noting – you never used the proper procedure to notify us – which is writing us at the dumpbachmann@gmail.com address – and putting complaint in the subject line – to get the complaint addressed.
Bachmann supporter Jake the Snake – and his alias’s comments were removed whenever they show up – because he impersonates other commenters, his comments have been pure vandalism, and the first time he commented he made a “death to the homos” comment. You were by far not the only one that Jake has made disgusting comments about.
Also, commenters on DB are responsible for what they say in the comments.
Anon #1 mentioned that there were followups on this calling on me to respond on this thread – I was unware of these calls until just now.

Has degrees from Brown University, a Masters of Public Policy from the University of Texas-Austin, and her law degree from the University of Minnesota.
All of that without learning English? An Ivy League Degree, some Texas cred, and a law degree from a top tier law school, all without mastering English?
BK uses this because by looking at her, a racist is apt to believe she can’t speak english. Her education puts her in the top 5% of all Americans. BK also gets busted on his home too. One is sure to know the difference where you pay property taxes and the other where you have rental property. Also, if he lived in her district, he’d know that her district has a heavy Hmong population and is moderate DFL.
