Might be safe to say Manny will not approve of anything Gov Pawlenty does. Fact remains he is turning out to be a great leader and gets to say he is the one to get us out from under the 10 highest taxed states. All this indicates to me the DFL may be in some very big trouble in 2008 for local races. Seems the majority of Minnesotan’s like holding taxes down and know they get zero benefit from many of the programs the DFL wants funded. Seem the people of MN can see through the DFL’s new clothes.

Should the state start to change from DFL to Republican you can bet Minnepolis and ST. Paul will be in big trouble if they have to explain again why they cannot make it on their own and need the suburbs to bail them out year after year. With many of the large suburb cities popping up there will be less and less need for people to even go downtown at all. This will be a blow to the DFL as we move forward. Maybe they will need to convert the new library to a jail the way that city is going. That or a bunker for the people left downtown who need a safe place for shelter. No need to go to a store you can eat from the rooftop gardens.

And JOBZ is an excellent program that is serving the state incredibly well. It shouldn’t surprise anyone that fewer programs started up after the first year. DFL tried to kill it. They try to kill anything that works.

The facts are diametrically opposed to everything you just wrote. Quality of life is better, economic plan is exceeding all goals and expectations, education reforms are improving results, transportation is recieving needed attention.

Do you even live in this state? You have to be completely retarded to make the unsubstantiated claims you just did.

The Governor’s economic plan is failing, his education reforms are dated and failing and his Lt. Governor who heads MnDOT has been a complete failure. It seems his entire administration has been about seeking to be below average in just about everything.

This is the most accomplished Minnesota governor in decades. His record is iron clad.

Pawlenty has been extraordinarily successful at holding the line on gov’t growth and demanding accountability. State services are better than they’ve ever been, and more efficient — no matter what the union slobs and the DFLiars have to say about it.

Our drop from 16 to 21 has nothing to do with our fiscal responsibility, but as the article points out probably has as much as anything with other states increasing their taxes– like Alaska, which was mentioned in the article.

And, you crowing about this while the very next line says “saw its state and local tax burden rise from 11.2 percent of personal income to 11.4 percent.” says to me that you didn’t really read the article. Our taxes went up! Simply because we went down in rankings doesn’t mean that the average residents of our state have been taxed more since Tim Pawlenty was elected.

The current DFL group would love nothing more than to raise your taxes and get to the work of growing government! Many of these DFL’ers have families now that have kids coming up who will need government jobs as well so we best dig in and get used to paying more so the DFL can keep employing more liberals in government.

Ever wonder what would happen if we banned liberals from working for the government? If they had to actually make it in the private working world? I bet they would all be packing up and looking for some other socialist country to soak off of.
