SD 45 CHILI & CHAT TOMORROW EVENING
By Michael B. Brodkorb | June 18, 2007
King and I will be at SD 45 Chili and Chat tomorrow evening. Click here or read below for the details.
###
Here's a great opportunity to hear some inside war stories from this year's stormy session.
Just how bad did it get?
Please join us to find out at our second Senate District 45 Chili & Chat. This night's topic: The 2007 Legislative Session — DFL Lowlights & GOP Highlights.
The DFL legislators gambled on busting our state budget with over $4 billion dollars worth of spending with some outrageous bills. But GOP leadership sent them home by holding firm and united. Hear first-hand accounts of this year’s session and meet activists who helped us all win.
Mark your calendars on June 19, 2007 to listen to and ask questions of these stars of movement conservatism in Minnesota:
Rep. Tom Emmer, Deputy Minority Leader, 19B
And Special Guest Speakers, Radio Show Hosts and Bloggers:
Northern Alliance Radio's "Final Hour" Hosts
—King Banaian “SCSU Scholars”
—Michael Brodkorb "MN Democrats Exposed"

My fave part is the “GOP leadership sent them home by holding firm and united”
the GOP in the state legislature is damn near irrelevant, the only GOP’er who can do a damn thing in this state is the governor.

Sure thing Andrew… so irrelevant that the DFL (thankfully) got almost nothing of what they wanted from the session.
After the next election, I predict the GOP will be pretty goddam relevant to you sniveling pukes.

Is Emmer going to give a lecture on his castration bill? That should make a lovely Chili chat.

The DFL couldn’t override the gas tax thanks to the House GOP being united. Looks like Andrew needs to pay more attention.

92% of Minnesotans polled supported Tom’s castration bill Jebua. What part of it do you have questions about?
