MDE FROM THE ARCHIVES: FRANKEN’S BUSH-HITLER COMPARISON

By Michael B. Brodkorb | July 16, 2007

"You [Al Franken] recently said a Kerry loss would result in 'something looking very closely like fascism.'

[Al Franken]: 'I don't mean fascist in the pejorative sense, like Nazi storm troopers. I mean a corporate state. We're seeing that with tax breaks for corporations, no-bid contracts in Iraq, environmental regulation totally unravelling, and there are civil liberty problems. So I guess it's not far from the pejorative.'" Source: Maclean's, November 22, 2004

Please note how Franken said "it's not far from" the Nazi storm troopers he previously mentioned.

One another note: I would also like to add to my post here that Al Franken would like to have the government controlling corporations rather than the other way around! How un-American!

What a liberal, good-for-nothing, Nazi-comparing pinko he is!

Al, can you give me a specific example of environmental legislation being loosened and causing environmental problems? Just one example, that’s not much to ask for.

Al, can you give me a specific example of a civil liberty you lost under President Bush. Just one example, that’s not much to ask for.

Al, can you give me one difference between Clinton giving Haliburton a no-bid contract and Bush doing it? And give me the name of another American company that could do the job?

    I’ll wait. Take your time.

Truth is who besides far left democRats are anything like the nazi’s?

Let’s see, democrats want to curb free speech on the radio because liberal talk shows cannot gather the same kind of numbers the conservatives do.

democRats are willing to trade national security for additional votes.
The list can go on and on about why modern day democrats have far more in common with Nazi germany than any in the Presidents admin.

Hey that’s clever how you capitalize R in Democrats to emphasize the fact that they are, indeed, rats.

Do you mind if I use that here on MDE? It’s sums everything up quite well. Rats! Hah!
