LIBERAL BLOGGER UPSET WITH FRANKEN’S FUNDRAISING

By Michael B. Brodkorb | July 18, 2007

"The $1.9 million in campaign money raised in the last three months by Democratic Senate candidate Al Franken simply doesn't represent the people of this state. Did he do any 'bean feeds' in North Minneapolis? Word has it, at some of his fundraisers he even 'sold' access, letting higher funders have more time and access to him." Source: MN Blue, July 14, 2007

###

According to published reports, less than 20% of Franken's contributors are from Minnesota while over 75% of Coleman's contributors come from Minnesota.

I've been reviewing Franken's FEC report and I'll have more information tomorrow on Minnesota Democrats Exposed.

You couldn’t pay Al Franken enough to visit North Minneapolis… or anywhere else outside of the Kenwood neighborhood…

    Why is that?

AAAAw, Turdish, and here after what you said to me, I would think I was the biggest pussy here. I’m wounded, LOL.

And now I better go let the big stud know that according to Turdish, he’s now a female and my wife. ROFLMAO

… because then Al would see the result of liberal policies… and have to mingle with “the unwashed.” … No amount of money would bring Franken out for that.

The “paying for more access” thing is not unusual…that’s kind of how fundraisers work. However, the 80% raised outside the state is highly unusual. I’d be willing to bet that no candidate who has raised over $1 million for a Minnesota office has raised less of that money in state.
