[...] Now my understanding is that what Bachmann did was a procedural move which is common in Congress and according to political analyst Michael Brodkorb it was also done by the rest of the Minnesota contingency. Click here to read about that. [...]

"Those, afterall, are the same clowns who delayed the much needed work on Hwy 55, which was formerly a death-trap. And who currently are helping to delay work on the much needed cross-town, Hwy 62… which is very dangerous and over crowded."

Nice try Buddy, but it was the colossal screw-ups of MnDOT that delayed the crosstown construction. They misestimated the federal money they were to receive and asked construction companies to borrow the state money to start the project. That in and of itself should be a reason to kick Molnau to the curb.

Karl ought to call Michele and John and confirm that his hypothesis about the motion to adjourn is accurate.

If the lib press allows for clarification this fabrication by the leftists will be seen for what it is.

Karl: The final passage of the 35-W bridge funding package occurred on a voice vote on Saturday, after every member of the House of Representatives from Minnesota voted for a motion to adjourn.

Why don't you come on my radio show on Saturday and I'll explain the procedures of the House of Representatives.

Once again, a paid Republican mouthpiece is trying to obfuscate and confuse the issue rather than address the facts at hand.

The bridge money bill was passed on Friday, August 3. And before the House even took up the measure for the FIRST time on Friday, Bachmann and Kline voted to adjourn. End of story.
No amount of GOP spin is going to change that.

The votes are here for all to see:

Vote #817, Motion to adjourn, 4:28 pm

http://projects.washingtonpost.com/congress/110/house/1/votes/817/

Vote #819, Motion to suspend the rules and pass HR 3311 (the bridge money bill), 6:30 pm:

http://projects.washingtonpost.com/congress/110/house/1/votes/819/

Vote #818 was not relevant to either the motion to adjourn or the motion to pass HR 3311. No Democrat voted to adjourn before the House took up the bridge money bill. Republican Jim Ramstad joined the Democrats in voting against adjourning. How about asking Ramstad why he voted against the motion to adjourn if it was such a routine procedural matter?

You can see how Bachmann voted on them all here:

http://projects.washingtonpost.com/congress/members/b001256/votes/

So bloviate and spin all you want, Brodkorb, it doesn't change the facts.

I just emailed Pam Brogan at the St. Cloud Times asking for a clarification of her reporting.

She either doesn't understand the multiple possible causes of a procedural vote to adjourn, or she is being patently irresponsible in her reporting.

"Dump" describes these blogs perfectly with the excrement they like to throw out as fact. Perfect examples of lunatic fringe Lefties, say anything whether factual or not and hope somebody actually believes it.

Look at the author of some of those threads and it should tell you a lot. A failed, no talent, wanna be journalist that doesn't know fact from fiction.

The vultures at Dumpbachmann and Dumpkline are so desperate that they are willing to throw whatever thread of credibility they might have had under the bus for a sensationalistic post.

These bloggers certainly have a right to oppose Michele and John. A right both Michele and John would fight to defend. But for these bitter bloggers to display such a disregard for the truth is disgusting.

Perhaps Dump1 and Dump2 have decided that any post, no matter how factually corrupt, is better than no post at all. Don't let the truth get in the way when the goal is to smear a republican.

The DFL has certainly shown the same win at all costs sort of character deficit in their attack pieces. Is this now a component of Camp Wellstone curriculum? Even DFL party boss Brian Melendez appears more than willing to foist falsehood on the public for political gain. His strategy of retraction after the editorial impression is made has already been played out. Considering he's also the chair of the bar association makes a marvelous statement about the integrity of our legal profession.

One need only comprehend the vicious negativity inherent in any blog labelled Dump(insert republican name here). They are selling negativity, cynicism, and hatred: political commodities that seem to be the emotional rocket fuel of the leftists.

Once again MDE exposes the nincompoops for their careless disregard for the truth. Thanks for your viligilance Michael. We need more republicans willing to call the left on their corrupt practices.

Keep up the good work!

Still the point of the post... That the "Dump" losers would make those claims doesn't surprise me. What liberals lack in logic and reason, they make up for in hate and dishonesty.

Can't wait til these liberal clowns start whining about preserving some rare worm to delay the rebuilding of the bridge. Because, of course, rare worms, clams or fish are more important than people.

Or maybe they'll do what they're doing in Stillwater and suggest the "view" is better now and the river view should be protected. People can take the bus or canoe if they want to get across the river.

Just watch, it's coming. First it was predicted here that liberals would blame Republicans for the bridges collapse. Now I predict "environmentalists" will get involved at some point in an attempt to force their will on the rest of us.

This post leaves me wondering what roll call 818, 819, 820, 821 and 822 accomplished.

I assume that the answer must be nothing.
