DRAZKOWSKI PRESS RELEASE: “DRAZKOWSKI WINS IN DISTRICT 28B STATE HOUSE SEAT”

By Michael B. Brodkorb | August 7, 2007

"I am humbled by the support which the voters have shown for me and honored to have the opportunity to follow in the footsteps of Speaker Steve Sviggum. Speaker Sviggum is a giant in Minnesota politics and represented our area with integrity and hard work," said Drazkowski.

The election results indicate the voters clearly responded to Drazkowski's positive message. "In just a few short weeks, my volunteers organized, knocked on many doors, pounded signs, made the calls, and their hard work is the foundation for this victory. I thank them all"

Bread and butter issues like affordable health care, keeping a lid on taxes, and equity in education funding ruled the day. "I will work tirelessly for the people in our area and the State of Minnesota. I welcome input from everyone and look forward to talking with you as we face these challenges together," said Drazkowski

I am sure the Republicans are proud to add another abuser to their caucus, congratulations!

Sour grapes Ned? And by the way Steve’s lovely daughter was right by his side last night at his victory party. There is no abuse in that family as the court found out.

Poor Ned, what are you going to do in 2008 when it is looking more and more like the MN DFL is in for a bad election cycle? ;)

The way things are going in MN all the libs may need to more out to the Left coast. ;) Seems most in MN are far more moderate than the current DFL would like.

Congressman Keith Ellison will host an Iraq War Town Hall Forum tonight 6:30-9:00pm at CWA Local #7200.

They will likely take a poll to see who is in favor of peace.

I’m sorry. Ned threw me off with his “abuser” comment and I just assumed we were talking about Ellison. My bad.

Considering the numerous articles in the Strib against Draz, it’s kind of suprising that the Strib has not posted the Aug 7 election results to their web site. Plus, there was no mention in their Aug 8 newspaper. Had the DFL won, Lori Sturdevant would have her astute commentary on the front page.

  7. Trenet Says:

Leave it to the DFL to drag an innocent child into the mud and humiliate her throughout her community to try to win a few votes. They love to say they’re for children, but actions speak louder than words. I’m glad the good guys won this one.
