Come 2008 I believe the DFL knows they are in for a very hard election cycle. Seems most in MN are sick of their tax and spend ways. :)

Why not just post it here? Sorry I only am willing to go to one hack blog.

I fail to understand how you can expose Democrats in one blog and then promote Democrats Tim Pawlenty and Norm Coleman in others.

Keep in mind that this approval rating is based on how Pawlenty handle the crisis, not his overall approval rating.

It’s bound to be high after any crisis, as Bush’s was in the days following the 9/11 attacks, but Bush’s not so high these days.

And, BK, Election Day 2008 is more than a year away…a lot will happen before that day.

I believe Governor Pawlenty is doing an excellent job managing this crisis.

I must admit; well done piece by Senator Coleman.

I am pleased to see that he is working to expedite the North Star line.

Keep telling yourself that 2008 is so far away that the people will forget your party trying to pass the largest tax hike in MN history! ;)

Let’s not forget that most know full well which party has been blocking roads being built. Hint: same party who keeps trying to guide road funds to mass transit – democrats)

Then toss in how the loony lefties will act at the Republicans convention close to the election and I think you know what kind of trouble your socialist DFL party is in for. :)

So,Pawlenty wants to raise the gas tax now. Can’t we at least wait until the cause of this disaster is determined? As a smoker I’ve been royally screwed by Pawlenty and now, as a commercial driver, I’m gonna get it again. They’ll be coming after beer next and then I will move.

meanwhile Rep. Oberstar is proposing a 5 cent a gallon tax increase on the federal level..add that to the 5 cent state increase..wallaw…10 cents and counting…bend over boys and girls

Veritas, get real. Gas prices swing 10 cents a gallon in one day.

No…new…taxes! We pay enough. They can raise my gas tax after they have shown that all other moneys spent are more important then roads and bridges. (I can dream, can’t I?) A special session better be about reprioritizing funds, not raising taxes.
