FRANKEN’S EARLY ENRTY FORCED CIRESI TO GET INTO SENATE RACE

By Michael B. Brodkorb | August 9, 2007

"Franken's early entry into the race led Ciresi’s advisers to urge him into the race earlier than he would have liked, Ciresi said. People who are likely to attend precinct caucuses next winter are paying some attention at this point, but many voters aren't, he said." Source: West Central Tribune, August 9, 2007

Al Franken is the joke of the campaign, next to Obama and Clinton. And speaking of Clinton, may I offer the following chronical of earlier events of my day…
Today I was listening to Hannity and also had the idiot box on w/no volume. Hannity was talking about how the press hammers the wives of the Republicans and gave examples of Fred Thompson’s “trophy wife” and a few others. He then said “do any of you ever hear of the media going after a libs wife? I’m listening and watching the Presidenton the White House lawn on TV, thinking here is a guy in the upper 90% for fitness for a man his age, standing next to Laura… I think to myself, what a great looking couple. Decent, love one another, faithful, both mature, raised two daughters who are doing great volunteer work around the world. Then I flash back to 1992-2000. The burger and pizza eating heart attack waiting to happen President and his joke of a cabinet. His desecrating the Oval Office by having an intern, barely older than his daughter perform oral sex on him, and he returns the favor by dusting off a cigar. Who knows where the former first daughter is. Last I heard is Mommy and the DNC gave her a whack and told her to quit partying and barfing in the streets of London and to not embarrass broom rider one.

My question to all of you… Do we really want to go back to those days?
