2008 RNC CONVENTION PROTESTERS PLANNING “TUNEUP” PROTEST NEXT MONTH

By Michael B. Brodkorb | August 29, 2007

"Protesters, many against the Iraq war, are expected to descend on the convention. Estimates vary from a few thousand to 100,000.

Marie Braun, a local antiwar leader, said protesters will get a tuneup on Sept. 15 when they will stage an antiwar march from the Cathedral of St. Paul to the Xcel Center and then to the State Capitol, a route protesters hope to use again on the opening day of the convention." I hope the police are stocking up on rubber bullets. I think they’re going to need them.

  4. ryanT Says:

They will make our state look like fools in front of the entire world. Thanks, morons. Here’s something – why don’t you go do something to actually help people.

  5. Swiftee Says:
    August 30th, 2007 at 8:17 AM

I’d love to “tune up” some moonbats.

  6. Woodbury Conservative Says:
    August 30th, 2007 at 8:44 AM

She learned to be a burden on society from her father and it would seem she is trying to force onto us her beliefs – not on like certain other regions – the only difference is they like to cut off the heads of those that them deem infidels. Bottom line- don’t do us any favors we do not want it from your kook-kind.

  7. Woodbury Conservative Says:
    August 30th, 2007 at 8:46 AM

Typo on regions replace with “religions”

  8. jay Says:
    August 30th, 2007 at 8:47 AM

Take advantage of the situation. Find goods and services to sell to the moonbats. Items that come to mind are tin foil hats, Che shirts, Granola, Organic anything, and of course copies of Das Capital and The Red Star.

Avoid selling soap, American flags or anything made in Israel.

  9. Lassie Says:
    August 30th, 2007 at 8:51 AM

Swiftee: I think it’s time to enlist moonbat control agents.

In 2004, several volunteers served as escorts to delegates who were stalked and threatened in NYC.

With Dave Thune and the ACLU welcoming anarchists and free legal representation, delegates should be very concerned for their safety.

  10. Dave Says:

I have the pick-up, I have the water balloons. Who wants to help do a little target practice for next year?

  11. Beeza Nine Says:
    August 30th, 2007 at 9:16 AM

Do you have a confederate flag or NRA decal on your pick-up Dave? or just the Garbage Logic one?

  12. Chestnut Says:
    August 30th, 2007 at 9:41 AM

Dave, can we fill the water balloons with urine? It’d be fun for us, and those losers wouldn’t know… they’ll still smell the same.

  13. Dave of the VRWC Says:
    August 30th, 2007 at 9:45 AM

Lassie, they may be violent bigots, but as I posted last week….this will be a thousand Wellstone funerals. No matter how incompetent the Republicans are, this may be enough to get a few more of us elected.

Several conservatives will be out in force with cameras to record the worst of these wackos.

  14. Dave of the VRWC Says:
    August 30th, 2007 at 9:49 AM

    “…or anything made in Israel”.

If Crawford Texas and Snellng Ave protestors are any sign, there will be anti-Semitic types coming. They won’t admit it, but the Democratic party has conections to many Jew-haters. Stormfront, David Duke, the ELCA, the nutcases on Snelling and Summit, etc. Look for many swastikas next August.

  15. Andrew Says:
    August 30th, 2007 at 10:16 AM

You guys are fucking ridiculous. People are allowed to protest you know, its in the constitution.

And Democrats dont hate Jews, many of us hate Israel and their horrible human rights abuses towards the Palestinian people who are mostly peaceful and want to just live and support their families. But no, Israel wont have that!

  16. Tundra Tom Says:
    August 30th, 2007 at 10:23 AM

Yep, the DFL hated Jews so much they endorsed and elected State Senator Sandy Pappas (9 times), State Senator Dick Cohen (10 times), State Senator Terri Bonoff (2 times), State Senator Ron Latz (3 times, State Representative Frank Hornstein (3 times), State Representative Phyllis Kahn (18 times), State Representative Steve Simon (2 times) and State Representative Jeremy Kalin.

As for David Duke he was elected in 1989 as a Republican to the Louisiana House of Representatives.

Take your racist bullshit someone else Dave!

  17. Dave of the VRWC Says:
    August 30th, 2007 at 10:31 AM

Why do Democrats single out the Jewish state for attacks? Why do liberal Protestant churches lead by Democrats praise Arafat and condemn Israel?

Why does every “peace” march include anti-Israeli signs but none condemning nations with real civil-rights problems?

Jews in the mideast are down to that little postage stamped sized nation, but for people on the far left and far right, it’s still to much.

  18. Dave of the VRWC Says:
    August 30th, 2007 at 10:33 AM

Tundra Tom, good response. But don’t forget the Duke ran for President as a Democrat and says word-for-word the Democratic talking points about Bush.

Andrew, maybe you need to learn a little about sucide bombers attacking weddings.

  19. Woodbury Conservative Says:
    August 30th, 2007 at 10:36 AM

They may need to learn – but they won’t.
    Leftistism is a mental disorder.

  20. wtm Says:
    August 30th, 2007 at 10:40 AM

The actual policies the Democrats support are not pro-Israel. You libs have always told us in the case of civil rights that elected minority officials aren’t a good indication of support for public policies benefiting minorities. Likewise, pointing to elected officials who happen to be Jews doesn’t dispel the notion that the policies the Democrat Party supports, and the organizations it is in league with, are not pro-Israel.

  21. Chestnut Says:
    August 30th, 2007 at 10:45 AM

Dave hit the nail on the head. The DFL is rife with anti-Semites.

“Democrats … many of us hate Israel and their horrible human rights abuses towards the Palestinian people…”

Human rights such as? You mean kicking down the doors of terrorists and terrorist organizations?

“… the Palestinian people … who are mostly peaceful… ”

Except the hundreds of thousands who raise their children to blow up busses. Hell, the folks who treated the Palestinians worst are the Jordanians, Egyptians and the rest of the Arab league before Israel was created.

    Andrew… your ignorance is amazing.

  22. Woodbury Conservative Says:
    August 30th, 2007 at 11:19 AM

Andrew! You need to get back on the short bus and don’t forget your helmet.

  23. Dave of the VRWC Says:
    August 30th, 2007 at 11:21 AM

Just to clarify, most top leaders of the Democratic party are not anti-Israeli, but many of the ground troops are.

Can anyone tell me why they hate the little liberal socialist democracy of Israel so much?

Why the distortions of history? Why can’t Israel bashers admit that there is no such nation as “Palestine”. The Palestinian people weren’t even invented until 1967. It was a broad area that included much of todays Jordan and Lebenon. For anyone who wonders why Israel exists, do a search for Jewish population in various mideast nations, 1946 vs 2007. The cleansing is almost complete in all but one county, Israel itself. And many want to finish them off there.

  24. Chestnut Says:
    August 30th, 2007 at 11:39 AM

Very good point Dave. Those same folks should research the Christian populations of those same Middle Eastern nations. You’ll find a lot of “cleansing” — murders, executions and persecutions of them too.

Maybe that’s why liberals love Islamists so much. “The enemy of my enemy is my friend.”

    DFL: anti-Semitic; anti-Christian… anti-American.

  25. Dave Says:
    August 30th, 2007 at 12:06 PM

It sure is fun, seeing you libs get all worried about this. We Conservatives are going to enjoy all the press coverage.

I can’t wait for Mr and Mrs Cowmilker in rural Minnesota to watch this fiasco/protest over the dinner table. It sure will help the cause….the CONSERVATIVE cause!

  26. leaving the left Says:
    August 30th, 2007 at 12:13 PM

Andrew, you are an idiot. Palestinian rockets are launched everyday at innocent women and children in Israeli villages. They never stop. It is a human rights violation occuring daily against the Jews.

  27. Chestnut Says:
    August 30th, 2007 at 12:17 PM

“People are allowed to protest you know, its in the constitution.”

Well yes, of course folks can protest…. Up until the time you goddam worthless liberals start setting fires, rioting and kicking in store windows.

That’s when there’s no such thing left called police brutality…

  28. Dave Says:
    August 30th, 2007 at 12:56 PM

Hey Chestnut…I actually WANT them to bust windows, destroy property, pee on the sidewalks, hold up traffic!

Again, Ma and Pa Cowmilker will watch it all on the news and repel away from the liberals. More GOP voters…converted by the mindless idiots known as Liberals.

  29. Dave of the VRWC Says:
    August 30th, 2007 at 12:56 PM

Dave on rural MN. I probably have posted 10 times on this……but I think the protesters will do for Norm in 2008 what the Wellstone funeral did for him in 2004.

And there are those on the right who are going to take the worst of the protestors and portray the whole group as that. Fair? No. Fun? Yes!

  30. Dave Says:
    August 30th, 2007 at 1:06 PM

I’d bet that over half the maggot-infested loser protesters would vanish if the Mommy and Daddy would shut off the money. But, then again, their Mommy and Daddies were probably dope-smoking druggies in the 70′s anyway…so the kids are just following into the family business.

  31. Andrew Says:
    August 30th, 2007 at 2:48 PM

I am not an idiot, I am simply looking at this from more than a one dementional point of view. You see a bunch of idiot terrorists bombing innocent people. But you dont stop to ask yourselves, why are they doing it? Because they hate freedom? That is the most absurd thing Republicans spew.

They do it because Jewish settlers took their land, force them out of their lands by bulldozing their houses because they cant buy a land permit due to beaucracy, restricted their ability to move within their own homeland through fences and check points, live in mansions while the Palestinians live in shacks and cant even afford to feed their families. The Israelis moved in, fed off the Palestinians and now the Palestinians are getting revenge in the most heinous, ridiculous way.

Republicans just dont bother to look at the other side’s point of view which is sad because their point of view just so happens to be the right one. You guys believe the Israeli spin that your tax dollars help support.

  32. leaving the left Says:
    August 30th, 2007 at 3:01 PM

Andrew, Yasser Affrat stole hundreds of millions from the Palestinian people and hid it in foreign banks so now his wife has it and living a life style of the rich and famous plus he kept his people uneducated, poor and brainwashed them to hate Israel an America. You sir if not an idiot are anti-Jew.

  33. Chestnut Says:
    August 30th, 2007 at 3:09 PM

That’s a novel, and wholly inaccurate view of history Andrew. Your ignorance is amazing… even for a liberal.

  34. Woodbury Conservative Says:
    August 30th, 2007 at 4:48 PM

Andrew, your post is beyond lame, I heard Vick needs someone of your kind of mentality for his defense.

  35. Honeydog Says:
    August 30th, 2007 at 5:00 PM

Andrew, I have news for you, Palestinians are nothing more than Arabs who moved into the area when the Jews were originally pushed out of the area. The Palestinians and the Arab world wants to wipe Isreal and the Jews off the face of the planet. As for that multimention view you say you have, before looking out of your ass, don’t forget to wipe the shit off of it first.

  36. Honeydog Says:
    August 30th, 2007 at 5:02 PM

    Ack, that should read multidimensional.

  37. Swiftee Says:
    August 30th, 2007 at 7:17 PM

    Larry Craig: “I’m not gay”.

Andrew : “I am not an idiot”.

    Denial…it’s an ugly thing.

  38. Chris Says:
    August 30th, 2007 at 8:27 PM

    Andrew,

Your history is extremely short sighted. The Palestinian people were the nomads of the Middle East. They went from Arab country to Arab country and guess what happened? They were driven out of the Arab countries and killed. It’s called Black September and it happened in Jordan in 1970. Thousands of Palestinians were murdered by Arabs.

The Democrat party has become the party of anti-Semitism.

  39. Chris Says:
    August 30th, 2007 at 8:28 PM

I am anxious to have the protestors here. I fully expect the protestors to turn over police cars, torch them on fire and throw bricks through windows in St. Paul. The radicalism of the 1960s Democrat party is alive and well and will be on full display in St. Paul next year.

  40. Chestnut Says:
    August 31st, 2007 at 7:28 AM

Indeed Chris. And I fully believe, that at the time when these petulant, liberal assholes start setting fires, rioting and kicking in windows, there ceases to be anything called “police brutality.”

  41. jay Says:
    August 31st, 2007 at 9:37 AM

Andrew go to the ADL’s page and note the anti Israel groups. Many of those groups will be at the protest next year. International ANSWER will be here. Most of the photos I have found are from ANSWER events.

A book collection that will be available for sale at the protest.

Does this remind anyone of the racism of the Nazi’s or the Klan?
    http://www.protestwarrior.com/gallery.php?group=lefties&pic=15

I don’t agree but still find this one funny.
    http://www.protestwarrior.com/gallery.php?group=lefties&pic=28

But never question a lefty’s patriotism
    http://www.protestwarrior.com/gallery.php?group=lefties&pic=84

Check out this short video. I was very disturbed by the guy with the red scarf.
But the Jewish woman was probably the one who most honestly portrayed the problem of anti-Semitism at the peace protest.
    http://brain-terminal.com/posts/2003/04/04/peace-love-anti-semitism

Andrew if you are honest and ask your fellow protestors (if you go) I believe you will find plenty of anti Americanism and anti-Semitism. You will also find that many “pacifists” are in favor of war especially if that war involves the killing of Jews.

I encourage you to go. Look around and ask questions of your fellow protestors. See for yourself if your views coincide with those of the protestors. I think you will come away with a very different view of your fellows than you have now.

  42. Dave Wagner Says:
    August 31st, 2007 at 4:29 PM

THIS WILL BE A GREAT EVENT FOR MINNEOSTA’S NEXT U.S. SENATOR JAMES BROOM WELLSTONE TO ATTEND….

  43. Dave Wagner Says:
    August 31st, 2007 at 4:36 PM

…WOW! GOOGLE…. JEFF FISHER PAUL WELLSTONE

IT APPEARS THIS JEFF FISHER GUY IS CLOSE FRIENDS WITH AL GORE AND THE SECRET SERVICE….

THATS WHAT IT SAYS OVER ON ONE OF THE PAGES OFA POST AT MN PUBLIUS

I THEN WENT TO THAT ASSASSINATION VIDEO ON THE BROOM FOR SENATE SITE AND ON THE YOU TUBE SITE IT DECLARES JEFF FISHER AND BROOM4SENATE ARE THROWING A PARTY FOR DICK CHENEY.

MINNESOTA IS GOING TO BE OUT OF CONTROL IN 2008…OH MY GOD!
