I suppose these stupid little signs in the DFL booth are better than the nazi-swastikas the liberal activists will be painting on his billboards, and the lawns of Coleman supporters DFLers are going to trash next fall.

The DFL epitomizes the race for the bottom. In this context, at least their stupidity and immaturity is public and visibly connected to their party. Versus the violence and intimidation they spread under cover of darkness the rest of the year.

  2. Dave of the VRWC Says:
    August 31st, 2007 at 9:44 AM

Kyle, I recall the swastikas the liberals drew on the forehead of Norm (on his billboards in 2004).

    Class act, those Dems.

  3. Kyle Says:
    August 31st, 2007 at 10:45 AM

… it was 2002, but yes… they drew swastikas on Norm’s billboards, and trashed the lawns of people displaying signs in their yards.

The DFL is the party of hate.

  4. Down the Hatch Says:

The more confident the DFL becomes, the more apt they will be to reveal their true agenda. Minnesota voters will turn on a party when they feel they have too much power and are getting preachy.

Remember, this state once had Senator Grams and Senator Wellstone, at the same time and picked a Wrestler as Governor.

  5. Dumbing it Down For the Left Says:

    Classless.

    Not surprising. But classless nonetheless.

Wow. Just how well educated are we here in MN??? Do people who post such 4th grade hate finish their education? I thought politics were suppose to debate substance and have depth. I am appalled I am spending so much of my tax money to get this kind of stuff out of it. This is the kind of stuff that makes people say, “never move to that place. Wacko, idiot country.”

You can tell that things are slow when Michael is getting huffy over this kind of thing.

Please imagine for a second, if you will, what comments on a hypothetical GOP board about Keith Ellison would contain. I promise you none would be attacking his liberal voting record… They would probably follow the MNGOP’s ad hominem attacks and guilt-by-association smears.

  8. leaving the left Says:
    August 31st, 2007 at 12:17 PM

Franco, If the GOP would have people leave comments at their booth at the Fair, everyone would become a John Doe and prosecuted by the ACLU for Mr. Ellison , right after CAIR denounced such attacks… that is the difference. Where has being a civilized society gone? Thanks Bill Clinton!

  9. TitanTrader Says:
    August 31st, 2007 at 12:19 PM

Franco, dude your proof that liberalism is a mental disorder, please seek help. You only response is “I know you are but what am I”. That sick stuff dude. As I just posted in another section:
I love how you liberals try to dismiss this as nothing and try to point to Republican examples as justification. Look the fact that the fever swamp puts up these posted notes is not the issue. The issue is that dems working in that booth don’t have the decency to take them down. If I were a commie lib like the one’s whining here, and I worked in that booth, I would be embarrassed by those notes and have the common decency to remove them. I also have the common sense that this reflects badly on my beloved DFL and may portray a negative light on my party and thus remove them to spare my party the embarrassment. Just more proof democrats are complete idiots.

what comments on a hypothetical GOP board about Keith Ellison would contain

The difference is that they would not remain on the board very long. Hell I would take them down myself if such a thing would be there. Your argument is like speeding and saying “well the guy next to me was speeding too” or “other people were going faster than me” to try to get out of it. If it is wrong, it is wrong no matter who is doing it. If your party is allowing it to happen it reflects the true nature of those running the show and defending it shows your true nature as well.

I’ll have to check it out tonight.

  11. Drew Emmer Says:

Democrats are doing a fine job of repelling folks who traditionally supported the DFL.

What are we doing to present effective on-ramps for these disenfranchised future former democrats onto the broad highway of the Grand Old Party?

Where is the GOP Welcome Wagon?

  12. Rapid Says:
    August 31st, 2007 at 1:24 PM

Your right Drew, Sen. Craig, Sen. Vitter and Congressman Foley and the masterful execution of the Iraq War are bringing the folks to the GOP in droves. Keep up the good work, there’s no stopping that GOP freight train!

  13. Trompo Says:

    MAJOR BREAKING NEWS!!!!!

This is all orchestrated by Brodkorb and he continues to refuse to deny that he wrote all the post-it notes. All he will deny is that he posted them. Major story. I have pictures. Stay tuned. I will post them soon.

  14. Michael B. Brodkorb Says:
    August 31st, 2007 at 1:30 PM

    Trompo:

    I didn’t do this.

  15. Drew Emmer Says:
    August 31st, 2007 at 2:06 PM

Do Rapid and Trompo represent the best the DFL has to offer in terms of inane disruption? Is one of them actually DJZ?

  16. Dave of the VRWC Says:
    August 31st, 2007 at 2:09 PM

Michael, you don’t have to answer. He and everyone else knows you didn’t.

  17. Drew Emmer Says:
    August 31st, 2007 at 2:10 PM

Drew: “Democrats are doing a fine job of repelling folks who traditionally supported the DFL”

    Rapid: “Your right Drew”

    Thanks Rapid!

  18. Trompo Says:
    August 31st, 2007 at 2:17 PM

Absolutely amazing. Brodkorb continues to refuse to deny that he actually wrote all of these notes!!!!!!!!! Pictures will be posted soon.

  19. Rapid Says:
    August 31st, 2007 at 2:19 PM

Drew you quote people just like Fox :)

  20. Michael B. Brodkorb Says:
    August 31st, 2007 at 2:41 PM

Trompo, you have no picture, as I didn’t write these messages.

  21. Down the Hatch Says:
    August 31st, 2007 at 3:23 PM

Trompo has proof of Brodkorb’s guilt the way Rep. Hortman has proof that the bridge collapsed due to global warming. Liberals believe that if you say something, it must be true.

Anyone want to see pictures of Speaker Kelliher posting those notes? I do, but I am not naive enough to believe they exist.

    Live in the now, Trompo.

  22. Trompo Says:
    August 31st, 2007 at 3:44 PM

I never said I had pictures of Brodkorb writing the notes. I just said I have pictures. Hell, everybody has pictures. Nobody ever asked me what my pictures were of or where I would be posting them.

I want to know why it took Brodkorb over 6 hours before he responded to the accusation that he wrote all of the messages. For hours, he refused to respond to the allegation and then over 6 hours later he claims he didn’t write these messages. What is he hiding?????

  23. TitanTrader Says:
    August 31st, 2007 at 3:55 PM

“I want to know why it took Brodkorb over 6 hours before he responded to the accusation that he wrote all of the messages”.

Maybe because he is busy you loser. As I said before it’s not the fact these were written it’s the fact they were not removed. You people are sick, sick sick in the head.

  24. Michael B. Brodkorb Says:
    August 31st, 2007 at 4:08 PM

    Trompo: I’m not hiding anything.

  25. cash n carey Says:
    August 31st, 2007 at 4:16 PM

I don’t think it is funny for anyone to say the Norm looks like Klobuchar. (Note that I was being nice by not mentioning which end of the horse Klobe resembles.)

  26. wtm Says:
    August 31st, 2007 at 6:07 PM

At the DFL booth, they hand out hate on a stick.

  27. buck Says:
    August 31st, 2007 at 8:21 PM

Nah, it couldn’t possibly be Republicans writing those notes. They’re all in the men’s room tapping their feet.

  28. Big Kahuna Says:
    September 4th, 2007 at 11:19 AM

I used to love to put up notes claiming bad things about the DFL but eventually they figured that out and now have someone monitoring the notes put up. Which is kind of sad that they now “officially” suppoort the hate written there.

Still a very fun group of petty people who are easy to get upset and make fun of. Not the brightest group I have met. ;)
