BREAKING NEWS: FRANKEN CONTRIBUTOR SKIPS BAIL HEARING

By Michael B. Brodkorb | September 5, 2007

"REDWOOD CITY, Calif. — Democratic fund-raiser Norman Hsu skipped a bail hearing on a grand-theft charge dating to the early 1990s, prompting a judge to issue a bench warrant for his arrest.

The surprise development in the saga involving one of the Democratic Party's most prolific fund-raisers in recent years came this morning in a San Mateo County, Calif., courtroom where Mr. Hsu had been scheduled to surrender his passport and await other proceedings in his case after turning himself in Friday and being jailed briefly before posting a $2 million bond." ###

Al Franken's campaign received a contribution of $2,300 from Hsu on March 30, 2007. Franken later returned the contribution after reports of Hsu's criminal background became known.

This post also appears on Blogs for Norm!, an online community and blog covering the 2008 U.S. Senate campaign in Minnesota. The primary goal of Blogs for Norm! is to organize bloggers who support U.S. Senator Norm Coleman.

what else would you expect? He is probably on his way to China where the rest of the Clinton contributors are “vacationing”.

I want to know where the money came from. It’s clearly not Hsu’s.

Al Gore was caught red-handed soliciting campaign cash from the Chinese government… curiously, Bill Clinton sold sensitive military technologies to that same government… and probably allowed them to spy and steal nuke secrets from Los Alamos.

China’s a pretty large pool of campaign funds. Hillary is Hsu’s largest beneficiary… Hsu has contributed over half a million dollars to her and other Democrats in the past 3 years? What is his income? What’s the source?

Are there connections between Hsu and Chinese operatives? What level of influence are Democrats selling to their communist friends in China?
