Wow. OK. The sketch says rapists should have a hot-line to help them. If he’s working satirically, he’s pointing out that it’s idiocy to have sympathy for rapists.

Ann Coulter says all liberals support Al Queda. If she’s working satirically, she’s pointing out the idiocy of this position.

To be fair, I think Michael Savage and Swiftee are the only people who truly hold that position.

Thanks Andrew, that’s the point. That clip is art imitating life. News casts are so friggin’ stupid and amped speculation of the worst kind… The Onion gets it…

I hate Al Franken… but the idea of a “support group hot line” for the most unsympathetic of characters, is sort of a parody/satire on the idea that everyone is a victim.

I don’t know if know if that’s what Franken… if so, I can understand how it may have been a joke… If not… then this whole line of monologue is pointless.

I can see it in theory being kind of funny, but also uncomfortable at the same time.

There is a video put out by the Onion where it’s a newscast about a girl going missing and she is probably getting raped as we speak.

Actually, I could see how a “hot-line for rapists” would be kinda funny, even though rape is not… I imagine the callers using all the cliche stupid excuses (i.e. “… the way she was dressed…,” “… I bought dinner…,” or “every guy knows that ‘no’ means yes, come on!…”)… and the “councelors

It’s not “ha ha” funny, but it sort of satirically works…
