This was also when the issue got some national prominence because it was when the Dover trial was getting lots of press. That was seen by many as a second Scopes monkey trial. The second time, she came very close - and this was in an area where she was outspent by huge margins. Judy would be a good candidate to reach out to the soccer moms.
