MESABI DAILY NEWS PRAISES CIRESI FOR CONDEMNING MOVEON.ORG ATTACK AD ON GENERAL PETRAEUS
By Michael B. Brodkorb | September 17, 2007
"That is an ad that should be assailed by all public figures, whether Democrat or Republican, regardless of their views of the war.
We are pleased to see that several Democrats have done so — including Minnesota U.S. Senate candidate Mike Ciresi.
However, some others in Minnesota and across the country have remained far too silent, evidently too beholden to MoveOn.org or perhaps actually fearful of retribution from masters of the liberal group.
And that is as offensive as the ad." Source: Mesabi Daily News, September 16, 2007

As I wrote last week, Ciresi later flubbed an opportunity to take a centrist position by repudiating their perceived repudiation of MoveOn.org's attack ad.
### This post also appears on Blogs for Norm!, an online community and blog covering the 2008 U.S. Senate campaign in Minnesota. The primary goal of Blogs for Norm! is to organize bloggers who support U.S. Senator Norm Coleman.

Mesabi Daily News has a decent centrist editorial page. They are the ones (maybe linked from MDE) that asked what the hell the union boys were doing partnering with the leftist environmentalists.
