BREAKING NEWS: HENNEPIN COUNTY SHERIFF RICH STANEK DECIDES AGAINST RUN FOR CONGRESS IN 3RD CD
By Michael B. Brodkorb | October 4, 2007
According to sources close to Hennepin County Sheriff Rich Stanek, Stanek has decided he will not be a candidate for Congress in the 3rd CD. I am expecting a formal statement to be sent to me in the next hour.
Please check back to Minnesota Democrats Exposed for more information on this developing story.

A Fox News poll finds that 19 percent of Democrats believe the world will be better off if the U.S. loses the war in Iraq. Another 20 percent say they don’t know. Only three-fifths of Democrats were able to disagree with the proposition that the world would be better off if we lose in Iraq.
What patriotism?

This does not suprise me, he’s got a good gig now, he’s the big fish in a small pond. Stanek would not like to be 1 of 435, and have to take his marching orders from more senior members of the congress. Could you imagine Stanek having to follow the directions of some congressman from Delaware? He would be beside himself.

Well Chestnut, to make you not think I am such a lefty nut, I certainly dont feel the world would be better off if we lost Iraq. Granted, I definitely think the war is pretty much lost unless we pull out and let the Iraqi government figure their shit out. I really think they are the only ones who can fix this mess, not us.

Smart move on Stanek’s part. His law enforcement and political skills would be wasted in the US House. He is destined for bigger and better things.

?!? “Dedicated to a truthful discussion on the activities, statements, and tactics of Minnesota Democrats” ?!?
If your headline philosophy means anything, why was my post of yesterday deleted?
All I did was tell the truth about my activities and statements relative to Rickie Staneck, a Republican ‘leader’ in the community.
Just because my truthful statements from a (quite new) Democrat make a very high profile Republican’s UTTER LACK OF REGARD FOR OR CONCERN OVER A LEGALLY INNOCENT CITIZEN BEING TORTURED by government personnel, over which he now holds authority, look bad doesn’t mean they aren’t truthful…and significant…and worthy of being widely known…if the truth matters…which it does…as you indicate in your headline…
The truths I told are readily verifiable from jail audio/video footage and from the audio recordings of conversations I had.
Or are you only highlighting when Democrats activities & statements make Democrats look bad?!
