MN GOP PRESS RELEASE: “FRANKEN’S MILLIONS CAN’T BUY HIM LOVE, FRANKEN BURNS OVER $1 MILLION IN THIRD QUARTER…EARNS 27% FAVORABLE RATING”

By Michael B. Brodkorb | October 4, 2007

St. Paul – Republican Party of Minnesota Chairman Ron Carey today issued the following statement regarding Al Franken’s release of his third quarter fundraising totals.

"All the money in the world can’t obscure the fact that Al Franken’s extreme, out of control and vicious attack politics are wrong for Minnesota.  The more Minnesotans find out about Franken, the more certain I am that they will continue to reject his polarizing and mean-spirited attacks."

Lot of focus on Franken. You really don’t have anything else to talk about? The State Capitol is busier now than it was during special session discussions. Perhaps you’re realizing that the Mn/DOT catastrophe, the Health Department debacle, and the definite DFL win in CD3 doesn’t have anything to do with DFL wrongdoings. You’re really lacking any amount of substance and relevancy these days.

BTW, do you have a mancrush on Franken? You sure do spend a lot of time talking about him.

I have a mancrush on Franken’s RIDICULOUS burn rate.

KJR – does your mommy know you are on the computer? ;)

Franken is a major issue as it is vital the man not be elected.

In fact i believe it is vital that no DFL’ers are elected thus I believe this blog to be invaluable!! :)

You are always welcome to go read Daily Kos. :)

Wow, him spending a million really is a fuck-ton. Wonder what the hell he spends his money on… His office is ridiculously nice, a big gold plaquered name plate, waste of money. His staff really is some of the best so he probably pays them quite well. But damn, a million?

There are no choices. I love Norm for saving hockey but thats about it.

No one is viewed over 50% approval rating.

….and when this is all said and done you all don’t have to apologize or even thank me.

It will be an honor and a privilege to represent all of you.

Let me fill you all in on a secret…the reason we get raped on prescription drugs is due to greed and the fact that if the drug companies are threatened they kill people. Its a sad reality.

    Attn: Pfizer and Merck-

Who can make war with the BEAST? Just curious.

….and if any of you are hungry you should all FEAST on a snickers.

If Franken is so mean spirited, then explain why Darryl Worley, the country singer responsible for the song “Have you Forgotten?”, said that Franken is “a class act” and that “no one loves the troops more than Al Franken”?

Broom, you won’t be Minnesota’s next Senator.

  9. Honeydog Says:

Jax, Worley probably didn’t know about Franken’s antics when not getting the only pay he could as a comic. He also said that years ago before Franken proved how much he hates the troops by wanting to cut off funding to them.

  10. Chestnut Says:

Jaxdkjahcbth…. Darryl Worley was clearly hopped up on goof balls.

Nobody hates the troops more than Al Franken and his fellow Democrats.

A Fox News poll finds that 19 percent of Democrats believe the world will be better off if the U.S. loses the war in Iraq. Another 20 percent say they don’t know. Only three-fifths of Democrats were able to disagree with the proposition that the world would be better off if we lose in Iraq.

    What patriotism?

  11. Jaxebadt Says:
    October 7th, 2007 at 8:44 PM

    Chestnut,

So you basically want to backstab a fellow supporter of the war (which is the opinion what Worley takes) who has the audacity to not hate the same people you hate.

    You are trashy indeed.
