ENTENZA, HATCH, KAPLAN, AND MONDALE ALL DONATED MONEY TO AL FRANKEN’S CAMPAIGN
By Michael B. Brodkorb | October 15, 2007
According to Al Franken most recent FEC report, disgraced 2006 Attorney General candidate Matt Entenza, former Attorney General Mike Hatch, prominent DFL activitist Sam Kaplan, and former Vice-President Walter Mondale all donated to his campaign.
Once Mike Ciresi's report is online, I'll verify that his campaign didn't receive any contributions from the people I mentioned. Sometime people give to both sides to keep it fair. If they didn't, Team Franken has expanded their organizational lead over Mike Ciresi's campaign.

How about his run for attorney general in 2006 when he was forced to drop out?

didn’t Matt Entenza rail about executive pay levels at health companies, while his wife was getting tens of millions of dollars in stock options from United Health? … and wasn’t he running for AG, even as the AGs office was investigating UH… … and didn’t he accept a shit load of campaign cash from UH?

Personally, the AG should drop the frivolous investigations of the state’s healthcare organizations… the only thing Hatch accomplished was to make healthcare more expensive…
Oh yeah, and he got a bunch of kick-backs for his cronies.

[...] As I wrote yesterday, a Kaplan endorsement would be a boost to Al Franken's campaign. Can Ciresi catch Franken? I just don't know anymore. [...]
