FRANKEN’S SPOKEWOMEN ACKNOWLEDGES FRANKEN NEEDS TO “LEARN” ABOUT ISSUES IMPORTANT TO RURAL AMERICA
By Michael B. Brodkorb | October 15, 2007
"Although Franken did not mention rural policy in his remarks, Jess McIntosh, a spokesperson for the Franken campaign, said Franken has also been educating himself on issues important to rural America.
'The only good thing about the long campaign is that he has time to learn it,' McIntosh said, adding that Franken has visited with Rep. Collin Peterson about the Farm Bill and visited farmers personally to see what they need from the government." Source: Morris Sun Tribune, October 13, 2007
