BREAKING NEWS: REPRESENTATIVE ZELLERS DECIDES AGAINST RUN FOR CONGRESS IN 3RD CD

I spoke with Representative Zellers earlier this evening and he has decided he will not be a candidate for Congress in the 3rd CD. I am expecting a formal statement to be sent to me on Monday.

Kurt will do well in the House. He is one of the few conservatives who vote like it. I am sure it was a tough decision.

Contrary to DJZ’s characterization Kurt Zellers is indeed someone to be taken seriously in the GOP. He’s smart, well-spoken and right on teh issues. His constituents love him, as do his colleagues.
I respect his rationale for declining to run considering his very young family.
