[...] I have also posted the negative comments about Native Americans made by Al Franken (click here and here) and I haven't heard a peep about these comments from the critics of the post in question from Anti-Strib. I encourage those who have lead the crusade to highlight the racism on Anti-Strib to examine the mean-spirited record of Al Franken. [...]

sardonic: disdainfully or skeptically humorous : derisively mocking <a>

Clearly joking but some jokes you say in public and some jokes you make with your friends when no one is listening.

I unfortunately dont quite understand the joke or what he means, clarification anyone? (I dont have my thinking cap on and dont get it....)

I didn't realize that all Native Americans, or Indians as Al says, who live on the reservation didn't get enough to eat. Is Al saying that none of them can take care of themselves? Wow, what a wild statement to make about so a large group of Americans... I wonder if he feels the same way about any other ethnic groups? Probably, most racists do...

I think Al is attesting more to the difficulty of living in those contexts, not saying anything mean spirited.

Michael, I'm surprised with your amazing powers of intellect, righteousness, and prescience you couldn't figure that out.

ahem, American Indian is the more accepted by the community.

if you're going to claim that Al Franken makes disparaging comments about American Indians, at least you can get the terminology right...

"As Mark Drake, the Republican Party of Minnesota's spokeman always says "Al Franken is the most mean-spirited, polarizing candidate ever seen in this state." I completely agree."

Ever hear of a guy called Allen Quist? I think you guys actually nominated his once :)

You don't think his women belong in the kitchen was polarizing to some folks? Or creationism?

How about a guy named Ventura, with his views on religion and hookers, you don't think he was a bit polarizing?

You guys need some better spin and to open a Minnesota political history book once and awhile.
