SECRETARY OF STATE RITCHIE TRAVELS TO WASHINGTON D.C., YET ELECTIONS RESULTS STILL DON’T APPEAR ON HIS WEBSITE

By Michael B. Brodkorb | November 8, 2007

The polls closed over 50 hours ago, yet results for numerous school district elections have not been updated and some pages remain completely blank (see above picture) on Secretary of State Ritchie's official website.

Most people would probably think that newly-elected Secretary of State Ritchie is hard at work trying to solve this massive problem.  Actually, Secretary of State Ritchie is traveling to Washington D.C. tonight to testify tomorrow about same-day voter registration.

Why the heck is Richie traveling to Washington D.C. when he has problems here in Minnesota?  Oh…now I understand why Ritchie decided to get out of Minnesota.

    What a joke!

Rome is burning and Ritchie flees the scene.

He needs to get his ace back here and address some of the issues that have arisen (major hat tip to MDE for exposing this).

Maybe Ritchie will be meeting with some of super leftist special interest friends in DC to get advice on damage control in Minnesota.

…P.S. sorry for posting off topic. This had to be done.

MNUSS, you didn’t seem any more off-topic than you usually are, so no need to apologize.

    Nutbar.

If you need someone to help out with the ten Hooters’ girls, let me know.

I heard he was presenting at a seminar on Washington-Style Corruption. Is he staying at Dick Cheny’s bunker? Did he hand out fundraising letters on the flight out there, or did he have the flight attendent do it?

Who cares about the last election? It’s all about the next election and its result.

You would’ve thought that somebody at the Secretary of State’s office will read their own website and if election returns were missing update them. There’s a thing called phones. You don’t have to wait for a faulty computer to figure it out.

Aw, c’mon…it takes a long time to fudge the numbers, if you want to do it right. A few votes from this precinct, a few from this one….it’s like the meter guy who didn’t think St. Paul would miss a few quarters, for heaven’s sake!
Corruption, corruption, corruption. There’s a reason MoveOn.Org concentrated their last efforts on SOS races all over the US. They needed as many of their own in places of power, and at their beck and call. I wouldn’t trust Mark Ritchie to oversee a condo association election, let alone a city, county or state level one.

  8. Joe Forkeybolo Says:

Why hasn’t Tim Pawlenty rebuilt the I-35 bridge yet? Isn’t this his job? To build bridges, patch potholes, teach school and provide health care to the sick?

Oh, wait. No. He is the BOSS of people who do that. But I am sure Mark Ritchie is much more directly responsible for the content of his office website.

  9. Chestnut Says:
    November 9th, 2007 at 6:37 PM

Joe… Tim Pawlenty is re-building the bridge… it’s getting done in record time… he’s invested more in road work than the past 2 administrations combined. He’s getting his job done.

Conversely, Ritchie is overseeing the theft of state property, and the mis-use of state data to fund his own ambitions. … all the while, not accomplishing one of his foundational roles… to oversee elections and report results.

He campaigned on bi-partisanship, transparency and accountability. The previous SoS already was all of those things. Ritchie has proven himself nothing but a lying, partisan thief, too arrogant to be accountable to anyone.

But you’re a liberal… so dishonest, theft and irresponsibility are your core values… we don’t expect a shithead like you to understand.

  10. Nana Says:

Ritchie probably had to go to DC to coordinate with that federal transportation official since MNDOT fired the emergency coordinator lady and she’s no longer able to get the state to pay for her trips to stay at his house and talk to him on her cell phone for 35 hours so they can foster their ‘professional relationship.’

    Hey Mike B-

Why not show everyone the post that I broke on your site before it hit the ANY OTHER radio, T.V. or Media.

It was broke 1st on your site. As you can see I wasn’t lying when hours later some of it hit other media outlets.

Since my comments are being stripped here, I will no longer post here.

    I will say this-

For a site that generally trashes Democrats, I feel like all an all this was a good experiance on your site.

My 3 consistant Haters on this site me nothing to me and are worthless Human Beings.(I still will watch out for their intrests though once elected, they are human and I have to look out for all)

Once Hurricance Broom is in FULL FORCE in 2008 feel free to sit down with me for an interview, no love lost here, it is what it is.

Oh and since this is my last post on this site I will remind the RNC of my free advice which in the area of Politics for the last ten years is 100% correct.

HILLARY CLINTON IS OUR NEXT PRESIDENT. THERE IS ONLY ONE PRAYER AND ONE PRAYER ONLY THAT THE RNC HAS. THAT WOULD BE GOVERNOR TIM PAWLENTY RUNNING FOR PRESIDENT IN 2008. SHOULD THE RNC NOT HEED MY ADVICE THEY WILL ONLY PLUNDER TONS OF CASH FOR NOTHING AND THAT WOULD BE BETTER SERVED FEEDING THE HOMELESS. IT WAS FUN HERE AND I ENJOYED MY EXPERIANCE.
    SINCERELY-
