IRAQ WAR SUPPORTER BOB KERREY TO CAMPAIGN FOR AL FRANKEN

Team Franken has spent the last nine months trying to run away from Franken's record of nasty partisan attacks and from Franken's early and documented support for the war in Iraq. Franken's support of the war in Iraq continues to be an major issue as Franken battles other DFLers to be the nominee for the U.S. Senate from the DFL Party.
Why then would Team Franken bring in former U.S. Senator Bob Kerrey, who is one of the biggest supporters of the Iraq war inside the Democratic Party, to campaign for Al Franken?
Democrats I spoke with think it's very likely that Team Franken doesn't know Kerrey's strong record of support for the war in Iraq. Check back to Minnesota Democrats Exposed and Blogs for Norm! for information throughout the day on Kerrey's support for the war in Iraq.

I don’t think he is an idiot. He’s looking for anybody to endorse him. What will be interesting is if this Kerrey and the Kerry from Massachusetts should both endorse him and be on the stage together.
