TPT’S MARY LAHAMMER REPORTS ON “UNEASINESS ABOUT BONOFF”

By Michael B. Brodkorb | November 14, 2007

"Dems had been doing better at that in recent years realizing how it put them at a competitive disadvantage. I'm hearing other DFLers are getting into the race because there's a bit of uneasiness about Bonoff. She has great credentials and a solid resume. But in this new media world, one has to wonder if Minnesota Democrats Exposed video of her missteps at her campaign announcement have hurt her. I know a lot of MSM don't want to give bloggers that credit and power, but they're not to be overlooked. I've got to say to me Bonoff has been professional and pretty impressive, but this video does not look good." Source: TPT's Mary Lahammer, November 14, 2007

Bonoff’s biggest problem is that she won’t be able to portray herself as a “conservative” Democrat. She has to show herself for what she really is…just another liberal DFLer. She has to do this to get the nomination and won’t have the time to re-write history before the general election.

    Nice work!

Mary Lahammer should talk…I’ve seen her flub. And can she do something about her hair. Either it looks like something out of the 80′s with those oily ringlets or something out of th 70′s with wig like overdone Farrah Fawcett.

She tries just a bit to hard.

    Kristi -
Lahammer is the hottest woman at the Capitol. More importantly, she is honest. My experience in life has been that attractive women are often criticized the most by un-attractive women. Your words speak volumes about what you think of your own appearance.

That would be due to the fact moast liberals have a certain look to them. much the same as say a person with mental health issues, they have a look that identifies them. This is also in part why I do believe liberalism may very well be a mental disorder. :)

Most women on the left go for the throat when it comes to looks of a woman who is a Republican.

    I think Lahammer is Republican.

CORRECTION – I DON’T THINK she is Republican.

Wow Kahuna you must have some powers being able to pick out who has mental illness and is a Democrat or Republican in the crowd. Do you work part time at the State Fair guessing people’s weight as well?

I think everyone should leave Terri alone. I agree that Mary Lahammer’s hair isn’t good and that she tries to hard.

Why don’t you republicans look at Terri’s record instead of a few grammer errors?

That last response was sponsored by SuperAmerica.

Supermommn is not a name you can trust.

    I agree about super mom

always got their hands in Big Convienence :)

Ha, ha! I didnt think of that with my name. Is that another example of a personal attack??? ;)

I just think the while republicans look the other way on all of Bush’s mistakes all the time you are always quick to make fun of a couple of Terri’s errors.

The other democrats in the race, at least, have been civil to one another. I was at a meeting last night where Terri was really nervous and the other candidates were very gracous with her – turned off the camera before it got to bad. That’s the kind of thing we can be proud of while you republicans are making personal attacks.

Supermom – are you kidding me? The other candidates were “gracious” and turned their cameras off?
You’re supporting a blubbering “Minnesota state senate” who can’t even pull it together when speaking to her fellow democrats?

I hope she wins the democrat nomination – easy republican win baby!

Hey Michael – any chance you can find some video/audio of this meeting? That would be great!

    Here’s to re-taking the house in 08!

PS – I am a Minnesota State Senate

    John -

You have proven my point exactly. Your comment didnt have any substance at ALL. While democrats talk about issues and character, all the republicans do is bully and attack. Is this what we want are politicians to do!?!?

As far as retaking the house…? Good luck!
