BACK TO SCHOOL FOR DFL ENDORSED CANDIDATE IN SD 25: CRAZY RANT ON WEBSITE INCORRECTLY LISTS OFFICE SEEKING, MISSPELLS OWN NAME

By Michael B. Brodkorb | December 7, 2007

Kevin Dahle, not Kevin Dahl, is the DFL endorsed candidate in SD 25, not SD 25B. What a crazy rant! Click here to read for yourself.

Update: 6 minutes after I published this post, someone corrected Dahle's website. They must be reading Minnesota Democrats Exposed.

Update #2: Folks, fix the prefix on the phone number.

    Who is Kevin Dahle?

And, why didn’t he credit the classic, Tale of Two Cities?

This guy is a civics teacher?!?

Someone should check the test scores in the school where he teaches.

    Jiminy Christmas!

Is this the guy who ran against Bly for the DFL endorsement a couple years ago?

One of his education union cronies probably took the wording from an old website….and was too lazy to actually proofread the thing.

You’d think since Dahle is a teacher, he’d have at least read what is posted under his name. It’s rather embarassing.

Lazy with no attention to detail, and he’s a teacher?

    Shocking.

For those DFL clods from the Dahl/Dahle campaign:

Your comments on the senate being “fixated on differences” is quite hysterical.

Just to remind you: The DFL has had control of the Senate for over 30 years. The minority (Republicans) wield NO power. The Republicans can scream all they want…but YOU DFLERS have the power.

I know you all think your pap was a great sound bite, but intellegent people know you are just feeding lies to the Masses in the hopes of foolin’ them.

Of course, Ray Cox also was one of the scumbag, turncoat Republicans that screwed Hennepin County for Smilin’ Carl Pohlad’s new stadium…so Ray can go-to-Hell too.

    Me fail English? That’s unpossible.

If that’s the best you have on Dahl MDE, you have been too busy following Al and not doing your homework.

  8. Thor Ruler of Zoltar Says:

My guess is the DFL sits this one out. But by all means, spend lots of money trying to win this seat! Less money for Democrats to spend on Rep. (insert vulnerable Democrat freshman here) in the 2008 campaign.

  9. Miss Havisham Says:
    December 7th, 2007 at 11:31 AM

    That statement makes little sense.

Does Dahle know that the DFL controls the State Senate?

Will Dahle be critical of Pogemiller and Murphy when they grandstand and play partisan politics?

  10. Minneapolis Moderate Says:

His writers must be on strike.

  11. Walter Says:

Our Republican candidate must be brilliant. To create the website for his opponent and to put out a letter where it looks like the Democrat doesn’t know how to spell his own name.

Man how did this guy get the endorsement? He can’t spell his own name. Or can’t proof read stuff carefully. The second is a major qualification for looking at bills being proposed.

So he is running for District 25B? That isn’t the same district that Bonoff wants to be “your next State Representative” is it?

A word of advice to future DFL candidates–try to memorize the name of the office and the district. It’s really not that hard. Once you have the district down, memorize: education, healthcare, property taxes. Repeat over and over.

Once you get in, Education Minnesota and the rest of the unions will think for you, so you can go back to auto pilot.

Hey, I should set up my own Camp Wellstone!

    Chestnut,

The Ralph Wiggum quote is priceless!

The Republicans in the Senate? They’re so far in the minority, if they lose this seat, the DFL will have a veto-proof majority.

  14. Pip Says:
    December 7th, 2007 at 1:13 PM

Dahle sounds like a real dope.

  15. maddmedic Says:
    December 7th, 2007 at 6:21 PM

Umm yeah Dahle teaches Civics and Drivers Ed in Northfield, thats the People’s Socialist Republic of Northfield.
They think their schools and teachers walk on water here, when in reality, they suck.

  16. doctor dre Says:
    December 7th, 2007 at 10:21 PM

Dre makes the call! I said some underemployed teacher would get the nod. Easy call.

Numbering the Senate Districts, and the House districts as A & B is perhaps causing liberals not to connect with the true essence of the districts. It’s hard to generate emotion about a number.

Perhaps when we redistrict we should rename the districts like they used to label the parking lots at Southdale. Let’s see, Kingdom, phylum, genus, species…..we could have animal names. And each animal name could have a special color oriented sub-district moniker for the House District designation.

i.e. Senate District Aardvark. House District Beige Aardvark and House District Majenta Aardvark.

That would really resonate with people and alleviate all the confusion.

Wow- have some class. Having a website called Minnesota Democrats Exposed with terrifying graphics really gets to the root of all evils. You conservatives cannot rely on scaring people into believing you are doing whats right for this country. Look at what your precious leader of the country has gotten us into )at least he reflects the stupidity of his followers).

His name is listed at the bottom of that page as well in which it is spelled correctly.

It is not a sin to have a typo on your webpage. Why don’t I look at all your blogs and pick out spelling errors.

Either way our district is in decent shape since we got that nutjob Neuville out of here.

  19. Walter Says:
    December 9th, 2007 at 12:51 AM

Erik why don’t you have some class.

It’s the Democrats who stupidly follow their party. Why else will blacks keep voting for the party that does nothing to improve the inner cities. Keep in a mind a best selling author put an interesting graph in a book where most of America’s largest cities has had a Republican mayor for less than 50% of the time or not at all.
Why do people in Detroit think electing a different Democrat will save the city of Detroit.

Note read the update. It took MDE exposing it for the person to correct it. They weren’t aware of it until MDE posted it! I do typo’s on my comments, but if I was putting out a fundraising letter I’ll make sure:

the seat I’m running for is identified (it looks like he’s running for House Seat 25B instead of the state Senate)

I want a proper phone number for people to call to volunteer or ask questions.

And I will want my name to be spelled right!

And it certainly isn’t nice for anybody to say somebody is nuts like you just did.

    Walter Hanson
    Minneapolis, MN

  20. Chris Says:
    December 9th, 2007 at 2:06 PM

I’ll nitpick on MDE for a split second:

Michael, 507 is an area code. 645 is the prefix. Your latest note to the Dahl(e) campaign should read “….fix the area code.”
