You don’t write very well, so I can’t tell if you’re trying to dismiss the seriousness of drunk driving or spousal abuse. Both kill people every year and both should be punished.

In fact, Greg, name a DFL who was actually punished by their caucus for breaking the law.

Just acknowledge the fact that the DFL doesn’t take misdeeds seriously.

Yes, let’s get rid of public officials who are convicted of drunk driving. I hold them to a higher standard.

The fact that many people have a DUI doesn’t make it acceptable. Your logic and compassion suck eggs. Maybe a visit to a MADD impact panel would penetrate the liberal haze clouding your brain.

So you really want to compare getting a DUI to beating your wife?

As far as I know Rukavina and Metzen apologized and faced the consequences… the last I heard Mr. wife beater was still claiming he was really the one that was beat up. Doesn’t sound too sincere to me!

It has been said that one in nine Minnesotans has a DUI on there record, if you want to fire all those people from their jobs have fun Can we get rid of the President first?

For the DFLers who want to crow about Republicans being wife beaters, check out Kevin Chandler. Does the name ring a bell?

I also get a kick out of DFLers noting that it took six months to expel Olson. How long did it take to kick out DFL DUI convict Tom Rukavina? Oh, he’s never faced any punishment. Same for DFL DUI convict James Metzen. Same for DFL theft artist Phyllis Kahn.

Three things to say:

1. Mark told you when he will do interviews: “‘I am working with the Legislative Auditor and being respectful of his process,’ Ritchie said in an e-mail response. ‘When [Legislative Auditor Jim] Nobles’ work is complete, I will be happy to comment on this matter, the Legislative Auditor’s report or any other aspect of this situation. Until then, however, I think it is inappropriate to comment.’”

2. If you actually watch the video, you might notice that all of the college students are running around outside without jackets and sitting at tables outside. This clearly wasn’t tapped within the last few weeks.

3. Wow, the Secretary of State appeared on TV talking about why Minnesota is #1 in elections and encouraging young people (by young I mean 18-25) to vote. How could he?!?!?

MTV is the Al Jazzera for liberal Americans. I’m not shocked that Mark “I ran for office on a platform of depoliticizing it only to politicize it more than any other SOS in MN hisotry and then proceed to lie about I’m a d-bag” Ritchie appeared on it while refusing to return calls to local media folks.

And Scott Duncan is right, Bill Clinton is not a name you can trust.
