The film is a good sit. I enjoyed it!!! And no!! It is not a left-wing attack piece!! Tom Hanks is still a delight to watch. Julia Roberts was tolerable. Philip Seymour Hoffman was a riot!!!
Charlie Wilson is a fault ridden Democrat who took on a cause in such a way to help bring down the Russians and end the Cold War. The ending statement was profound however…”In the beginning the victory was glorious…then we fucked up the end game.” Or something to that nature. I knew what he meant.
